I guess it's because a lot has changed in ITV in these 10 years so I would say since the pandemic. SP used to focus on love stories alongwith drama. Nowadays SP's shows are mostly about the FL's struggles and how the ML is responsible for her pain and struggles. Aaj kal we hardly see any love stories. Here also Ishaan was one of the biggest pain givers in Savi’s life until he realized his love for her and sacrificed his life to save hers.

Obviously these kind of stories won't have much discussions. There are just 2 groups in almost every forum these days, people who sympathize with the FL and hate the ML and the other group is the one which wants to see beautiful relationship growth between the ML and FL and end up getting hugely disappointed.

I miss the IPKKND and Ishqbaaz era. I so wish the *love stories* phase comes back soon.

I feel they want to erase the memories of season 1 and start on a clean slate .. they had overdone Sai virat ki beti for the last 1 year … so they changed the surname .. made Savi bhosle …it’s a new story .. and won’t have farz and all that

It’s a new story from yesterday the back drop is Savi missing ishan who she knew for a year .

She will not recall vinu , kaku or anyone … I Think it’s a good way to start ion a fresh pallete

Me too. Those days when out n out comedy shows and serious drama wale shows used to be on air in every channel. I still remember Monday 8pm would be Sarabhai and Tuesday 8pm would be Khichdi. IMO the 2000s era was the golden era of ITV. We used to get to watch all varieties of shows in channels in those days.
