Infact his monologue gave me a clear picture of his inner turmoil. He is going through lot of emotions off late .From the time the thought of Jhanak leaving him he has started his realisation in a better way .He doesnt know if its love .He has his longtime girlfriend and a marriage waiting for him . Even if he realises it as love , his mind wont agree to it. He is being practical there . But now when she left, he realises he values her the most important part of his life , he misses her , even fought for her shutting Arshi even in Jhanak's absence . Now when Jhanak said it all he is again realising he is much hurt with her words and doesn't want to live . And then his mind questions him, why so , he should be thinking of Arshi and not death . He is slowly and steadily realising , he is much above Jhanak's well wisher .

Kya main Jhanak' s se pyar karti hoon is a happy feeling , but at the same time more scary for him as he is not a teenager who can jump over his newly found love . The way he just laid down hiding as if hiding from his feelings .He is scared , worried about the consequences . And Jhanak's made him more anxious of the already turbulent mind of his.

And hence the injecting of " I love Arshi " into his own mind .

His character is undergoing a proper development in the past Kashmir track .
