No, Basskarr, I did professionnel work there...I also lived there for a certain time in a woman hostel, not in a hotel...and I only used train, busses and sometimes a rickshaw (never a taxi). I wanted contact with the people living there, not with tourists. I strolled through the streets (including slums)...all alone but never got mistreated...I played with streetkids, talked with young people, bought things in the stores in my vicinity, ate fruits from the stands, drank chai from the stalls and fresh water given in a chrome cup... (that is what I mean with "non-touristic")...ah yes, and I never felt fear

I learned a bit Hindi (speaking it) but I forgot it because I didn't exercise it the last years.
