She cannot fathom the thought the guy who has been in love with her daughter can choose someone who is classless according to her. Adding salt to the wound is that she is the daughter of Urvashi whom she has felt inferior to since decades. When the team tells him he will get married tomorrow - ani looks like a lamb for the slaughter. Poor guy literally is stuck - he had a few opportunities to say no to the marriage but he has never taken it. Probably because he does not want to be blamed.

This entire show currently is based on misunderstanding between the main characters. Jhanak thinks Ani loves Arshi, Ani thinks Jhanak loves Rahul, Rahul thinks Jhanak loves him, Arshi thinks Ani is under Jhanak's influence but truly and deeply loves her(arshi) only - all are mad. House of cards - will break soon.

And funnily all the non leading characters have the money on point aka Choton.

Also the other non leads have an inkling but refusing to see the truth staring in their faces.

True- I feel sorry for R in all this. He should have been smarter to make sure everything is legally done.

As for Arshi, not sure if should feel pity or indifference cuz her character is a mixed bag.

Last time, when Jhanak entered the house for the first time, she believed that Ani loved Arshi. But as we know, they both ended up falling deeply in love.
