Guys I am bored with this show and it's current storyline. Watched Heeramandi and found it more dynamic than ishtateec Maa show. Our characters in Anupamaa have more potential as characters in Heeramandi than as themselves. So guys let's cast people for TamashahMandi-The Kalesh Baazaar

Jahaan pe hai Drama ka Bhandaar

1.MallikaJaan: A woman who would do anything to be in top and is scared of no one.The cutest woman in Maaverse, known for her expertise in taunts, baduas, world phamous recipes making people dance(on her tunes) and sitar (on kaan), Leela Shah is cast as BaalikaJaan/Leela Jaan/JhulikaJaan. In spite of living a middle clash lyphe, richest people on earth respect (fear) her. Her adopted daughter Anupamaa was offered the role but she burst into tears and gave 100 reasons why a simple homemaker like her should not play the role of a woman who is self obsessed. Her each reason could have filled a page at least and her 100 reasons accidentally turned out to be the best audition for Mallikajaan but it was a rejection. Better luck next time.

As for her younger version, Leela Shah suggested her family friend Devika to play her younger version Devilkha. Devika Ji is a busy entrepreneur but she gave an excellent performance as junior version of Leela Ji. She was totally in character when Rihanna was to be punished.

2.Rehana and Fareedan: Identical mother daughter duo who can give Mallikajaan nightmares and actually make her relent.A rich beautiful evergreen relative of Leela Shah, the mother of her elder granddaughter-in-law, known to stand by the truth and fight against injustice against her, Ms Rakhi Kapoor(formerly Dave) is cast as mother and daughter duo Rihanna/NaginaaRhea/Naagidan.

Anupama Joshi was approached for this role as well but she wanted Leelajaan as Huzoor to begin with and her both characters were alive and serving her with utmost loyalty and instead Waheeda and Shama are against Leelajaan.She even asked us to cast her former teacher Malti Devi as Waheeda and her own daughter Pakhi as Shama. The desire to control and change the script reminded us of Fareedan more than Rakhi Ji did but Rakhi Ji and Leela Ji have best chenistry.

3. Waheeda: A woman who is almost as cunning and shrewd as compared to others around her but is always helpless and has a bad luck. Neither her superiors nor her inferiors care for her. She feels like an outsider among friends and enemies both. She has even seen two opposing parties joining hands against her. Not even her own daughter and nieces care for her. Kavya Shah, a beautiful fashionable woman who is a businesswoman and a model both, daughter in law of Leela Shah, was selected for this role and her niece Aadhya Kapadia is playing her younger version. Both woman claim to relate a lot to Maideehaa/Katoreeha/Kaveeta/Adheeya/Choteeya/Aneeya's pain and nature. This time we considered Adhya's mother Anupamaa again but she wanted to change the storyline in which her character remains loyal to Baalikajaan and herself is a freedom fighter with Bibbo. She wanted to ruin the character this time so this was the first time we rejected her even though she claimed to feel Waheeda's pain due to her nieces and daughter.

4.Alamzeb: Without depending on Sharmin's expressions, we would like it to be a woman full of life and headstrong. She resists, gains the strength and runs away to find love. Not tolerating that the character defies JhulikaJaan, Anupamaa rejected the role and gave a long speech on motherhood of JhulikaJaan. She declared that she would neither betray JhulikaJaan nor live a life of a courtesan. She started to start some Shayrees out of rejection and again her rejection became the best audition for the character. So we decided to cast her daughter Dimple Shah who has herself gone through what Alamzeb went through.Dimpyzeb is final.

5. Lajwanti : To make a successful show, we needed to indulge in exorcism this time so that we could speak to the once deluded spirit of Maya who gave a perfect audition. She even gave auditions for Mallikajaan, Rehana-Fareedan ,Waheeda, Bibbo and Alam,even completing Anupamaa Ji but she failed to scare Baalikajaan as Mayana/Mayadan. Rihana Rhea were way more noble and so were Fareedan and Rehana.Plus she would fail to turn Dimpyzeb against her own mother. Unscrupulous Mayalikka would have easily defeated Fareedan. Also Mayazeb would be selfish. Mayeeda would be way too crazy.Mabojaan would be more like another Alamzeb. Plus our motive is Kahani Nayi, Ending Wahi.

6.Bibbojaan:Anujaan obviously. Angrez iske bhashan sunke Bharat se bhaag jayenge and she will ensure Tawaifs become chief freedom fighters. Also who knows, she may save Kohinoor. Oldest Nawabs se youngest Nawabs sab ispe Fida honge to the extent that they give all their properties and money to Tawaifs and join phreedom phaiters.She would be the one who ends up with Taajdar/Anujdar and they would reform Heeramandi and Tawaifs will not longer indulge in wrongful activities. Leela Jaan would end up becoming first PM of India.

Characterisation is very accurate btw

I would love to watch this series over the crap storyline going on right now anytime.

Episode 1 JHULIKAJAAN: Lahore ki gajgamini

In1920s Lahore, the chief courtesan of Shahi Mahal Rihanna/Nagina/Rakhina gives away the son of her sister Devilkha because he had no future in Heeramandi. Outraged, Devilkha reveals to her that her patron Vanrajan Sahab is now hers forever. Angry, Rakhina vows to oust her from Heeramandi by hosting her last mujra. Jealous Devilkha shouts so loudly that Rakhina is unable to bear the noise anymore and actually kills herself. Devilkha sells off Rakhina's daughter Pareedan, a major threat to her rise to become chief tawaif. Devilkha also threatens to do same to her younger sister Adheeha what she did with Rakhina.25 years later, Devilkha looses her loudness but gains abilities of taunts and badduas. She has adopted the name JhulikaJaan. Gunther,an Englishman, introduces a gramophone to Jhulika and implores her to let him record the bhashans of AnupaJaan, her first born, but she discards him as she herself finds the bhashans scary. Adheeya, now Kaveeha steals a part of earnings of Anu's mujra. Jhullika disregards her younger daughter Dimpyzeb's inclination towards becoming a married one man tawaif and announces her forthcoming first debut as a courtesan.Maya, Jhullika's foster daughter, is blindly in love with her patron Vanrajan Ali Khan and expects to marry him.Intelligent and Oxford returned Anujdar Baloch professes his hatred for Heeramandi and its customs and also for the British Raj but agrees to go there on insistence of his father Yashfaq and grandmother BeejiJaan. Yashfaq likes AnupaJaan but Anujdar likes her more. Anirudh Cartwright asks Jhullikajaan for one of her girls to perform at his private party but she bluntly rejects his proposition, claiming that JhulikaJaan is the only one who can play mind games in TamashahMandi. Aniruddh becomes patron of Kaveeha and uses her to uncover secrets of JhulikaJaan. AnupaJaan secretly sees Anujdar reciting his cringe shayaris and starts to have a liking for him. She also has a secret liking for Maya's patron Vanrajan but she ditched him when he liked Kaveeha. Kaveeha ditched him for Englishmen later. Eventually Vanrajan cheats on Maya with AnupaJaan. Now bitter, Anupajaan engages in strong Tashan e ishq with him to get info on British. She also gives long bhashans to Kaveeha to do the same or else she would steal her patron too. Secretly a part of anti British association, AnuJaan gives all information to her association and gives revolvers to all. Love blossoms between JhulikaJaan's servants Adhik and Kinjal. Anuj and Anu meet each other during riots and Anu rescues him.
