According to me, this is what made the female lead irredeemablly shameless. After this scene, no matter how the makers try to whitewash Maa, it just does not garnish any sympathy from me. I couldn't believe after seeing this scene that writers are so stupid to make their own lead look so bad for viewers!!

In real life, most people, even if they get a hint that they are unwelcome in someone's house feel uncomfortable and think of leaving. But not our besharam Maa.

Exactly, and when Anupamaid saw Paaki in a café in US with another boy, she immediately understood that Paaki and that boy are flirting. Khud kare tho theek, par dusro ko alag rules. It's another thing that Paaki made a mistake in judging that boy, but at least Paaki is still young enough and single to try to find a partner for herself. Really?? Does Anupama even have a house where she has paid one day's rent our of her own pocket. She's either found lying around in Kinjal's house, or Yashdeep's house or Anuj's house or Kady's house. How can she call Anuj to any of these places to do EMA? Anuj place is best place to do EMA when his fiancee is bed ridden.

Also, please check the meaning of cheating. It does not just mean betrayal in a marriage, it also means betraying to your BF or GF and here Shruthi is in live-in with Anuj in same house.
