Regarding UK I'm glad if you've any opinion at all, because I'm totally clueless it's mindless bonkers and there's Keir Starmer from labour with winning potential he's pro-refugees(social unrest) pro-wealth redistribution aka rob the middle class. Then Nigel Farage is ultra right not sure who is the lesser evil. The job market is doomed, house prices skyrocketing, mortgage rates touching the roof, NHS waitlines zooming. To summarise in one sentence nothing is going well in the UK.

agree with mostly what u said. Wont comment on UK while I do have some opinions on what is happening there.

bottom line for your last para. BJP needs to learn and grow ….stop learning equals eventual marginalization like INC.

INC is still marginal with 100 odd seats. Pretending to win but actually lost

I want INC to come in power for just 6 months to also give a wake up call to voters on what it means for them …sometimes people need to learn the hard way. And same time don’t want them to take power for the same reason. Why create a self inflicted speed bump…

Agree next time the election should be in the middle of the week so that people vote diligently instead of taking the day off as a means of jugaad for a short summer time vacation 😉😀

Finally in Maharashtra BJP should've refrained from getting into the mess of family and fiefdom politics and in UP they should've heeded to Yogi ji's advice and they could've fielded better candidates.

yup. They have a lot to learn.

Maharshtra was not surprise to me (quantum was) as I have lots of friends with opposite views. They have anti BJP stance while agreeing there is no viable alternative. The wokes that don’t get that Inc policies will make them minorities with reservations and raid their banks with redistribution of wealth and the market jolt was a gentle reminder as it will be 1-8 days till NDA actually forms a govt and gets vote of confidence.

UP proves what everyone is afraid to say on IF. Caste - religion based politics does work especially when voting by Hindu majority is low.Ther are 100s of videos on how the others won’t vote for BJP while acknowledging benefits from them.

BJP has really a lot to learn from this election. Final point. Anti incumbency after 10 years of governance plays a role. Anywhere in the world it’s true…. Given that, NDA still did a decent job.

I know. Had a friends friend call me just last week looking to move to US.

I don’t want to comment as everything you said is true and will lead to discussions on things I don’t want to get into. Broader Europe is also learning from the refugees - isn’t it. Suffice me to say I agree with everything you have said.

Also, I have some economics data. For eg. PPP basis. $120k in US is equivalent to mere 30 lacs in India (income wise) and possibly a better life with domestic help etc. but that’s not what anyone is thinking btw. Which is also fine.

see. Already I wrote too much. 🤣🤣.

my POV backed by a huge investor community input - if NDA comes in power (most likely it will as I said based on what I know this minute), invest there. 3-8x return in 3-5 years. Will be true despite coalition govt if NDA returns. Can fault Modi for many things by many but his overall governance and economic path isn’t up for debate. 🤣🤣.

Some in mah think of BJP breaking govt. they conveniently forgot that Uddhav broke it by wanting to be chief minister after last one. 🤣🤣. But you are correct. The majority is lazy (besides divided) and got lazy with 400 paar -/ kyon vote denaaa hain. 🤣🤣. Now they will kick and scream but what’s the use. Voting is a must. Some person apparently won an election in Bombay with just 48 votes. 🤣🤣.

Vacations / not voting is a huge problem despite what is flagged as the highest voting in world. Not enough when opposition has a much higher % voting. Btw same is true in UK in some results I saw there recently. Better vote if one wants to impact an outcome. Else suffer in silence till next time. Hain na ?

Our investments are stuck in real estate in a Congress ruled state and cussing myself for getting into a never ending mess causing me sleepless nights, because wherever there's Congress there's goonda gardhi and anarchy.

I want BJP to stop appeasement politics and get strictly into action of nation building like judicial reforms, police reforms and focus on improving legislative situation. Always chakka jam conditions in parliament doesn't bode well.

From the Pune Porsche crash, to Arvind Kejriwal bail by supreme court there's rampant entitlement attitude of well off folks the judicial reforms is the way forward.

I am invested and investing more hand over fist with market correction. smiley43…gonna be a 3-8x return with NDA at center.

However, will yank the investments is if INC somehow manages to come to power. I don’t see it happening at this moment due to some connections and behind the scenes information..but politicians are fickle self serving folks. U never know when they change their minds.

Also remember the messages

“they won’t even collect their deposits “ by BJP ? This was over confidence. …

“Congress won’t cross 35-50” despite formation of INDIA Bloc

Most importantly - they needed to mobilise the core voters to actually go and vote. Organize transport to take them to vote etc. their core is busy taking vacations or holidays on election day assuming 400 paar baakee sab karvaaa lengey.

Amit bhai / Modiji ka core strength is ground work that they did themselves during their early political career. They will need to dig deep and bring that change for BJP again.

luckily my real estate in Bombay is ok but it’s definitely a huge beauraceatic process to do anything. But it’s also what I would never sell. Your problem is a huge problem. Am advising a friend to proactively take steps on this potential future problem for him as well.

Don’t forget. Appeasement promises is what INC did. Reservations / caste / khataaa khat. Despite them not fulfilling them whenever and wherever they have governed.

BJP will need to target those efforts to their core. Pehle apney core pe focus karo vs places where they got zero votes (yes not even 1) while building 500+ houses is just one example.

I am all for all the reforms you said. It’s what converted me to follow BJP. Judicial. Police. UCC. CAA and also NRC. Word is their hands will be tied for third term.

You know the phrase “Monday morning quarterback” ? What they felt was abkeee baar 400 paar was best slogan worked against them in hindsight. I am being the Monday morning quarterback here ofc.

Should have focused on - we need your votes to win seats to continue good work. Without votes we are at risk for our seats. In hindsight that would have prolly had a pretty different result.

IMO UT betrayed Fadnavis and he could've got the taste of his pill with time(in LS elections) BJP would've been better off staying away from that party split mess till LS polls. Because in Indian elections nothing works better than sympathy.

In UK also have same issue like India, Muslims vote en block to Labour(mostly benefit dependant) but others could never consolidate, our council is popular across the nation for top rated public schools and we used to have excellent roads and well lit streets till our mayor is labour candidate, now the potholes in some neighbourhoods remind us the UP village roads of the 2000s.

Maharsahtra ka kya bolu yaar. It’s a cluster … BJP really thought that SS together will be a clean sweep.

UK is going down a dark scary path. You aren’t the only one saying it btw.
