What I meant is that infra development in form of highways, bridges, and airports won't affect them as directly as gas prices and freebies will. The latter has a massive impact.

But all these are mandatory for agro edu and industrial flourish , which is essential to curb poverty in the long term.

The goal shouldn't be to serve the poor but to abolish poverty itself so no one is poor , every one is atleast middle class .

Bit I totally understand that poor people will only look towards transient benefit, as they lack the knowledge and info education to understand all these .
