Emotional double timing

Ani never did anything wrong knowingly. He was slowly falling out of love (if it was love) with Arshi and falling in love with J. Hence, during this phase, he was emotionally attached with both to some extent.

However, even with his increasing love for J, he never ever thought of calling off his marriage. It was always Arshi who talkd about breaking the relationship. Ani never thought of letting Arshi go and at the same time prevented J from leaving him. If you fall out of love with someone, the right thing is to call off the relationship. Ani should hv called off the relationship independent of if J loves him or not. Arshi remained Ani's back up plan, unknowingly, which is wrong.

The big difference between Ani and J is that J has high morales whereas Ani is a spontaneous person. Ani does not much think about right and wrong. Ani needs to develop a better sense of morales and for J, the importance of morales should decrease to level of practicality. If Ani has fallen out of love with Arshi, compulsing him to marry Arshi, for sake of committment would be wrong.

J since marriage, remained committed emotionally to Ani, whereas Ani's committment wavered with situation. J agreed to marry for sake of Ani, whereas Ani, celebrated rituals with Arshi to hurt J.

The situation for Ani and J is not that simple. They have to overcome the challenges of morality, their believes about each other, their class differences, family duties before they express true feelings.

It is been almost 200 episodes and we are witnessing an intense non physical romantic relationship. For that Kudos to Krushal mainly followed by Heeba.

100% he will be possessive and when he is insecure/hurt he will make Jhanak's life miserable by hurting her intentionally to appease his own pain. .

He is not one to sacrifice for love. He is selfish and will hurt another for love. The way he is treating Arshi is so damn pathetic.

J on the other hand will sacrifice even for her abusive sister when its the right thing to do.

Lately the way Ani is being portrayed I am not sure I want J to come back to Ani easily.

Agree with everything except one. It was J who wanted to get married to escape punishment may be for Ani and may be for herself too.. because she knew she wud hv be ostracised like her mom and not Ani. She chose the easy route. You can't blame her totally also given the circumstances. But Ani got himself into trouble in the first place because of his own good nature. It was not as if they got married at gun point like in Imlie S1 - J cud hv thought more calmly to get out of the situation or cud hv left Ani to handle the situation - may be cud hv convinced because he is so good with his words and has been shown to hv a sharp wit unlike J. Anyways it's all besides the point now bcoz what Ani is doing right now, even I don't agree with. May be he is just guilty that he is breaking a long stable relationship.

Now that Jhanak left the mad house, disconnected from Kolkata, I want to hope that he is waiting for the right time to break up. He is not looking forward to the wedding or life with Arshi. He is not making future plans with her which is not normal. I think he is just waiting for that moment where he feels Jhanak is safe enough that with this breakup it won’t any implications on Jhanak.

May be they could have shown a scene where he is alone in room and remembering her , which would have justified his sadness.
