The rumor also had it that Prashant has already spent 25 crores in the prelims. If the movie is getting shelved after such a huge amount being spent, the reasons have to be rock solid and extremely valid because it also meant loss for the producers and no one does a business for loss..

I like RS as an actor. With 5 back to back hits critically acclaimed 83 and a hit RRKPK, his acting caliber is unmatched. But if the rumors are true, he does need to get rid of his unprofessionalism as well as keep hus team on leash. No one is indispensable in the entertainment industry.

Hope we get to see him in something worthwhile really soon. It woul a collosal waste of an immense talent otherwise..

I mean only dumb and the blind will miss the glee in Himesh’s tweet announcing the so called official shelving or whatever it is.

Who puts a :) making a movie shelving tweet other than the haters?

I don’t even care for Ranveer but now I am going to look forward to his uprising.

This was an actual movie? Glad, it got shelved. Ranveer ain't gaining anything doing movies like these.

Yeah his Hanuman was tacky but got saved by the vibrating chants of Hanuman Chalisa and the visuals of Hanuman’s huge statue placed at various key points in the screenplay. I loved watching it in the theater but would never watch it again because there was absolutely nothing substantial to go back to.

Ranveer still has an active fandom on twitter, I know becuase I am interacting with them, those who are less active are still there but don't post alot as ranveer hasn't started his next movie yet, they'll become active again once his next starts.

His next just needs to be good and he'll be back, it happens alot in bollywood, where actors go through a low phase and then that one film brings them back, and maybe rakshas just wasn't that film. So hopefully whatever he does next is the right choice

It is a good idea from the fans of newcomers.....to know what they are doing wrong and what needs to be done...

I remember after Sonam and Deepika trashed Ranbir on KWK his dad Rishi went on a tirade not just against the girls but even Karan for allowing his prince to be insulted. And he blamed Anurag Basu for Jagga Jassoos saying if he had shown him some rushes of the film he would have told Basu to change it or something along those lines. Didn’t he also fight with Anurag Kayshap over the 35 crores for Ranbir for Bombay Velvet? It’s easy to lay low and not make an issue out of things when daddy Kapoor was bullying everyone for you. A man child to the core.

Whatever the reasons may be and the way it has all come about, there is certainly something going on with Ranveer Singh since Covid. Either he himself is not able to handle whatever he has achieved till 2019 or someone is not happy with it and wants him to be gone.

The only people with so much clout can be the 3 Khans....and they all like Ranveer....
