The dingy room in the corner of the bakery was dimly lit yet decorated with balloons and streamers. A birthday cake was positioned in the middle. He covered her eyes with his hands and guided her into the room. He slowly removed his hands and she saw the decorations and cake which said 'Happy birthday Sarla' while he was busy tooting a party horn 
She was overjoyed and embraced her lover, thanking him and stating that this was the best birthday of her life ever. They stood locked in each other's embrace.
Suddenly, a shrill voice shouted: OMG!
Dukhmukh and Sarla opened their eyes to see a shocked Makkhi standing there. 'Bapuji ye aap kya kar rahe hai?' Dukhmukh drastically pushed Sarla aside but it was too late. Makkhi started clapping sarcastically. In a scene reminiscent of the expose of Vanya's affair, one by one all members of the tamaShah family trooped in with a shell shocked expression on their face. Kauva, Vanar, Dumpy, T2, Doshu, Crinjal, AnupaMaid who had flown in from the US and most of all, Mawaali Jhuli.
Jhuli could not believe her eyes that her husband was having a private party for her neighbour Sarla. Her voice shaking, she enquired, 'Vanraj ke baapuji, aap toh apne mitron se milne gaye the. Aur Sarla, tum yahan kaise....' Dukhmukh was too shocked to even react. 'Woh woh main....' Doshu piped in, 'Vaah, sabko gyaan dene vaale Baapuji dekho yahan kya gul khila rahe hai. Ab samajh aaya ki ye itna bakery jaate kyun hai.' By this point, the other mohalla waasis had also gathered as onlookers to the scene.
Dukhmukh tried to justify, 'Leela, jo tum samajh rahi ho vaisa nahi, Sarla ben udaas thi toh main sirf uska mood theek kar raha tha.....' An enraged Vanraj shouted, 'Bas kijiye Bapuji, sharam nahi aayi kya aapko. Pooja paath ki umar mein aap ye sab kar rahe hai. Aur Sarla kaaki aap? kya aapke gharvaalon ko pata hai ki aap yahan hai?' An embarassed Sarla hid her face.
(Precap: The scene jumps to the past. Dukhmukh's flirtatious behaviour was known to all. He kept trying to engage his wife Leela but she was merely concerned with child rearing and looking into the needs of their two children. But Dukhmukh caught Sarla and Vimla glancing at him during their outings in the badnaam mohalla. They were not getting the required attention from their husbands either. The bakery owner was anyway his close friend and he managed to get an unused room as a secret meeting place where he regularly met either of them and made passionate love. The affair continued secretly for many years because no one suspected Dukhmukh, who said that he would be going to eat cream rolls. But both Sarla and Vimla stayed jealous of the attention Dukhmukh gave to the other. Recently, Dukhmukh had missed Vimla's birthday due to a usual tamaShah in their house. He tried to make it up to her with flowers but she was sulking. When she came to know of his birthday plans for Sarla, in a fit of rage, she went to the Shah house and asked them to rush to the bakery saying that she heard that Dukhmukh had fainted there and thus, all the Shahs ran to the bakery......)
Doshu and Makkhi couldn't hide their glee at this revelation. They started taunting Dukhmukh over his dalliances. Dumpy and Kavya tried to defend him. The latter said, 'Zaroor koi misunderstanding hai. Bapuji aisa kar hi nahi sakte. Ye Sarla kaaki ne hi koi khel khela hoga.' Vanar shouted at her, 'Chup raho Kavya, aaj koi kuch nahi bolega. Bapuji ko hum sab ne itna samman diya aur unhone kya kiya. Cheee.'
A desperate Hasmukh looked at Vanraj and addressed him, 'Beta Vanraj, tum toh samajhne ki kosiss karo. Tumhari maa ko tumhari aur Doli ki dekh-rekh se kabhi fursat mili hi nahi. Ek aadmi ke bhi phyjicall needs hote hai. Jab samay aaya toh tumne bhi toh Kavya ke saath.....'
Jhuli who had been listening to all this with a pained expression bursts into tears on hearing this. 'Hai Kanhaji, ye sab sunne se pehle main marr kyun nahi gayi.' She faints and collapses on the ground. The Shameless Shahs surround her and tend to her while Vanraj commands everyone else to go home. He tells Dukhmukh with folded hands, 'Aapko Bapuji bolne mein bhi sharam aa rahi hai. Aapne meri Maa ko rulaaya hai. Woh jisne aapki din raat sewai ki itne saalon tak. Fir bhi aapko koi aur hi dikhta raha. Toh ab aap bakery mein hi party kijiye. Aaj ke baad vapas ghar aane ka sochna bhi mat. Chahe toh Sarla kaaki ke vahan reh jaana. Aapke liye Shah house ke darwaaze hamesha ke liye bandh hai.'
Anupamaa had been standing silently this whole while, with a stony look as tears streamed down her eyes. Dukhmukh appealed to her saying, 'Beti tum toh mera saath dogi na....' She wipes her tears with her pallu and raises her hand. 'Bass kijiye Baapuji. Bass kijiye! Aaj aapne meri Baa Bhagwaan ko dhokha diya hai. Ye koi choti moti galti nahi hai. Aapne gunaah kiya hai. Aaj aap sirf meri nahi balki poori duniya ki nazron se gir gaye. Aapka ye paap kabhi maaf nahi hoga.'
Hearing this, Dukhmukh pretends to collapse and feign health issues, but the Shameless Shahs walk away in disgust. Sarla rushes to him. When he sees that the Shahs have left, he suddenly recovers and asks her if he can stay at her place. But she denies and states that she has to manage the fallout from the revelation.
Dukhmukh is left all alone and miserable but suddenly remembers another fraud just like himself. He takes his phone and dials a number. 'Anuj beta, mujhe tumhari zaroorat hai.....'
