Interstign discussion... Actually there isnt anything wrong.. its just when one goes over on it.. i mean everythign is similar to hte serial.. theotehr charcters , the names , the situaion.. and u then can say they wont have repstability... but as a matter of fact when i was not writign in here... even then i had teh repuation that fanfiction is an interstin way of what a person can visualise and write abt teh shape of the hcarcter... adn this ebnables us who comment on the story or hcarcter structure to know that even we have the creative skill of how well those writers coud structure it properly...

At a personal level... I feel a bit uncomfortable to project a very very dear and hit character name in my sotry i usually dont... I cant thin of Sujal in some story of mine.. i can project Rajeev as Jeet but not Sujal again.... On the other hand.. i wropte chandan as a charcter from jiyajale and even teh other lead keepginthe chacter name intact.. and the stupid storylien which is gogin now.. i canbet.. they read and take my story i can write a better one than themm... 😆 😆

So actualy at a personal elevel .. takign the actros playigna differnt charcter name nterst me... and non based serial.. oh i write that more easily.. fanfiction with charcter similar r much tougher actually 😃

Fanfictions are supposed to be written about something whic h an author likes, if they dont as your friend says stel the character then it wont be a fanfiction it would just be fiction and it is not stealing the characters mostly its just the same names. Fans express their views and what they want/wanted, its not stealing.

interesting topic Shalini. To a certain degree, I agree with your friend as we are all actually copying and interpreting the serial characters in our own way. But at the same time, most stories are different from each other, even if they are loosely based on the serial characters. We are all amatuer writers here and not professional writers. If the serial characters inspire us to improve our writing skills, then I see no harm in writing them. Personally, I just use the original characters names like AK/AR and write my own story but yes with some themes borrowed from the original serial. Giving our characters the names from the serilas just makes it easy to connect with the readers. Writing relaxes me and has also helped me tap the creative person inside me. In the end it is all about what gives one happiness and not what others think about it. So, I guess I see no harm in writing ffs if it fulfils an inner personal desire for peace and harmony (at least in my case)😊 😊

no1 is stealing any characters here...
v r just using our imagination to make them what v want... what v could do if v were in the place of the writers...
i dont think so there is anythign wrong with it...
