Opening? In test cricket, it's the toughest batsman's job. In T20, & to a lesser extent, F50, it is the easiest batting slot. Look at the batsmen who were great as openers but floundered once they dropped down the order - Rahul Tripathi, Devdutt Padikal, Manish Pandey, Mandeep Singh,....

Make him the #4 batsman: in T20, that's said to be the toughest batting slot, since one has to stabilize the innings and score runs at a high rate
