I think J will protect Ani when the time comes. Just like she has stood up in his defense numerous times for him, as she has done for Chotton, Bodomaa, Appu, and Jethu. Her only fault is that she is powerless owing to poverty and status which she has already understood from her fight with Ani that night and the daily dose of Mental Basus.
Ani had been a witness to her strength in the face of hardships despite being in the most powerless position she could and still came out with grace. I am sure it's one of the inherent qualities within J that Ani found himself attracted to.
So, when push comes to shove, J will be the RAKSHAK of Ani. She is already doing the emotional component of it. Just the power that needs to come with money and status, soon she will obtain it through her talent.
