I do agree tho that if rs or rk had said this they would have been heavily bashed, and that's becuase they both have alot of haters, and whatever they say or do is made into a big deal

He should had not used that word, I wonder does he actually know or understand the meaning of caretaker? Or maybe he really behaving like she does all the work including his chores. Not sure how loyal he is to Natasha.

'Caretaker' is absolutely not something you address to the birthday girl...the attention feels on you and not on her...but I don't believe that's what Varun's intention was...neither he comes across as self absorbed person. It's weird way of wishing, but definitely not malicious.

Caretaker is definitely the wrong word. Had he used the word supporter it wouldn’t have been an issue. Caretaker suggests she’s shouldering a lot or all of the responsibilities that he himself as an adult is dodging in his personal life. On top of that the woman here is pregnant. Why does a grown healthy capable man need a caretaker anyway?

Varun really isn’t the sharpest pencil in the pencil box, yes pun fully intended (IYKYK). So I can believe that he just used the wrong word unintentionally. But Varun also comes across as somewhat of a misogynist so who really knows what his intention was here.

I used to be a fan of varun until he made misogynistic comment about certain actresses looking older than him and they are close to his age. But varun is not as problematic like other male actors. His wife seems happily in love with him and they both seem like they are in love so that's good for them. At least varun is not humiliating and controlling her.

But people here saying why is varun not getting bashed like rk. Varun is actually with his wife who was his childhood gf. Rk cheated and dumped his childhood gf. Rk used successful actresses, designers and so many other people to climb the ladder and used them and throw away them like garbage so there is a difference here. Rk fake promises and fake loves them for his advantages.

If we are talking about a star, varun is a bigger star than rk because he had more hit films than flops unlike rk, check the percentage of hit ratio, varun's hit ratio is way higher than rk.

Wth. People really need to get a life and focus on real issues.
