only reason for me to enjoy IPL is to see young talent grow and how it’s been wonderful for them as a sport to get chances and shine.

In more ways than one to Kapil Dev to start this process with a league he was trying to make and then BCCI rushed to make it as he would have otherwise taken away the first mover advantage. Most people don’t remember the credit he deserves for what he attempted that ultimately led to IPL :).

yup. Success sometimes hurts. When setting targets. Can’t be 250+ every match. And when chasing. Can’t chase 300 when target is say 180.

Hence he will need to learn to play the pitch / balls and also targets when chasing.

Can’t blame a young man that got such early success with aggression and Head at other end with him.
