I don’t want Rohit to love her! When he comes back, I want them to separate and she finds herself miserable and alone. When they could redeem her mom, can’t they give her a genuine redemption arc too? But this time actually show it on-screen. They did show Ruhi stop being affected by the past- she needs to be affected and changed when she comes to know what her poppy and cousin died 23 years back. That her poppy didn’t just abandon her and never checked on her. That her maasi was alone and pregnant and raised Abhira alone.
The only way Ruhi can be redeemed is when she realises that the accident that killed her mom had her hand in and that steamrolled a lot of things. Goenkas need to be feel guilty and depressed AF about Abhira and her mom. Unless and until Ruhi comes out of her victim mode, and realises that everyone suffered because of her and due to her somewhat, she will never be able to change. I want Goenkas to say that they didn’t raise her properly and spoilt her. I want Ruhi to be repentant for what she did and what’s she’s doing- face the consequences. Her mom did- she was suspended from medicine for a year, she lost her husband when she became pregnant and became a single mother. Ruhi’ mom always competed with Abhira’s mom but after becoming mom, she realised you can’t compete with someone for happiness. It’s all in destiny.
They play too much of blame games in the show now-
Vidya is way too childish too. You can’t have others fix your marriage- and you can’t expect your husband to completely forget his ex and his child’s mother. Imagine if Sirat did that to Kartik. Yes V was cheated on most likely, she also knows that Maadhav initially didn’t love her and probably grew to love her over the years. But this constant blaming and circling back to the same issue is not going to help. Either forgive him and accept his past completely or break up.
