Armaan Never Loved Abhira But....

Arman never loved Abhira & has always been someone for whom family comes first whereas family treated him like an outsider not by rules but by behaviour and preferences. For years he needed validation. He has been a pendulum. He who sacrificed his love for family will ever stand up against family? Nobody might have thought he would ever do that but he did for Abhira...Why was she inclined towards him or developed feelings towards him? Because he gave her respect in front of his family. Why does he respect her? Why did he stand up for her career against Dadisa? It was out of obligation, but he stood up for Abhira's respect before Ruhi and Fufasa because he developed a bond with Abhira, a bond of friendship, care, warmth and mutual respect, she was his family, she became his real family, she taught him to respect himself first rather than demanding validation. It all vanished, the bond of mutual respect, care and friendship that was the base of their relationship for 9 months, growth in Armaan's character because of Abhira's presence in his life it all ceased to exist as Armaan made her a scapegoat in front of his family addressing her as a mere responsibility, he was fulfilling because of a promise to her mother. Did he promise her mother, he would fulfil Abhira's responsibility for 1 year? No. Did Akshara tell Armaan to fulfil Abhira's responsibility merely for a year? Why did he keep quiet when Vidya was badmouthing Akshara for proposing a one-year deal marriage on her deathbed? He should've acted like a man & told the entire story to his family. Ab-Ar married by rituals and witnesses registered their marriage but the verbal deal of one year was Abhira's idea as she didn't want to stay married to a man who was responsible for her mother's death (according to Abhira), she didn't want to impose herself on a man. Today Abhira again proved she is not just mere words but actions too. The idea of her being imposed on Armaan as a responsibility she never wanted, made her willingly move out of PH, despite attachments in a short time.

Armaan did not open his mouth yes he was forced to marry Abhira but he agreed .. and when Akshara died and Abhira proposed this 1 year deal he should have kept quiet and said we will see

He immediately told the verbal deal to Ruhi to give himself a clean chit .. Akshara had clearly forced a lifetime marriage and he should have kept the deal word in private ..

this agreement was a thing between him and Abhira .. Ruhi always misused it …that means in his mind this was a way out ..

if after 1 year both still has no feelings for each other.. they could have amicably settled for a divorce .. he seeing Abhira out in her tough days ..

now all the guilt that Abhira was hiding is out .. but Armaan won’t come out clean .. anyways if the guy does not love you there’s no point in staying in a loveless relationship..

Abhira after 20 years living with Armaan would be like Vidya or kajal ..

it is better to walk out of a loveless marriage early .. rather than trying to make it work .. Abhira will learn a lot from this heartbreak.. and will come out stronger

I am all for Abhira fighting the case along with dev shikhawat and beating fufasa hollow..

Let Kaveri Poddar face defeat .. now Abhira is under no obligation to go against family .. she is not family .. I hope dev shikhawat gives a good pay raise .. so that she can live in a better hostel .. and is not hand to mouth

He doesn't need to love her to be a decent guy. If he really cared, he'd at least make sure she's safe. He'd let go of gussa over Charu matter to remember every thing she has done for him and his family.

Abhira didn't trap him, or guilt trip him into feeeling like he needs to care for her.

He made the promise to a dying woman, she gave him a nice medium by proposing to deal to allow him to get an out and also not feel guilty that he couldn't do anything for his dead ma'ams daughter. She understands his guilt, respects that he unwillingly took her in and has been there for her several times to provide support and she has even told him its not his fault tha Abhira died. She took that bullet voluntarily and Abhira told him as much. But Abhira didn't sign up to be made to feel indebted for what he's doing for her, to be made to feel small and insulted and anxious constantly.

PH don’t know what transpired so they were rightfully upset and suspicious of this bizarre deal marriage setting .

They would never take Abhira’s word for it so Armaan had to be the one to defend the gold digger allegations, in fact I expected the payback contract she was forcing him to sign in Mussorie would make an appearance as a proof but .

Makers are writing Armaan’s dialogues/character in such a half hearted manner, most of the things he says to defend himself/Ab are useless and stupid, he just stands 🧍‍♂️ unresponsive to major drama happening around him right now . Just because they don’t want to pick a path doesn’t mean they make male lead a useless trash . It’s not at all entertaining when one lead’s POV remains unknown.
