And we can't even blame the bhaang....cz they say nashe mein insaan sach bolta hai & true feelings baahar aati hain

I think he is a guy that puts a lot of emphasis on First impression in a situation. Hence Jhanak's actions have always been out of left field and rage fuel inducing for him I feel.

Just once in nasha. Mostly he imagines J only after her entry in his life.

Bold - Absolutely, they could have not added that "control" dialogue. It was uncalled for !

It is this notion that all men think alike that is the most unnerving !

What is the need to stereotype a man's mindset towards a woman and put all men in the same basket?

It's like yeah, at the end of the day, they are all the same !!

P.S. - The makers have pulled a rabit out of the hat - Jhanak is back in the basu haveli. She took the "Ana kabhi Haveli pe" neotah a bit too seriously

You pointed it out correct. Control is the word that hit the lowest. Saddest part is this is the exact word Tejas used for her. Although I was surprised yesterday he left Tejas out, today I was like oh yeh, there you go. He could have simply mentioned Tejas n left it thr, without the use of the word Control. It wd have still been pathetic but at least wouldn't have felt like they're the same in their thinking of J. That hurts cz Anirudh did not show a spec of low mindedness until now (inspite of all the accusations) - at least in my opinion.

Later - Even Jhanak can go back to him since she doesn't know what he said abt her in the room. Its me who finds Runak tough atp cz I know wt he said & I don't know how to undo this.

I really wonder was Today (his monologue) necessary??? Yesterday was enough to proceed towards a separation track - Jhanak did get the dose of reality check - Enough for her to leave Basu house. But if makers find a way for her to go back to BH now, then namaskaram to them. I put up with Yesterday/Today only so there is a progression, which will not happen if she's back in that haunted house.

I wonder if it is the passive conditioning Ani has undergone in the hands of his family, ie., constant berating of Jhanak. Even if he stands up against it most of the time, he still hears them from time to time and might have internalized it and not acted upon it unless he loses control like the past couple of episodes.

Your definition of love completely aligns with mine, so proud of you that you decided to not give it to some one undeserving ! More power to you
