Forget about the letter, she is shown barely remembering her mother, her only relative. That sounds so unbelievable, no?

Jhanak madam , Ani baba ko ek chootu sa HUG de do. He needs it very badly. He needs that affirmation and slight physical proximity of her to stamp she is his varna woh kuch bhi bakwas karta rahega . Jhanak is not here to fulfill his physical needs to ensure him that she is his. This thought is really so cheap

It is beyond me to try comprehend how you can wish ill for a person whom you secretly love. In fact Ani's entire existence is hinged on Jhanak's well-being and existence !

You need to be evil and sick to wish what he wished today for Jhanak - his Basu genes are clearly not recessive, instead on a overdrive !

That's the punishment he has decided in his court for her ?! Because I fail to control her, I will pass her on to Tejas and he will be able to !

"Tumhari jaisi ladki?" - He said something similar when Jhanak left home for Tejas the first time around - "Kyu ja rahi thi uske sath? Kyuki uske pass power hai, paisa hai? Woh election mein khada hone wala hai?" - Not once did he give her a chance to explain or think that she was ready to surrender herself to safeguard Ani's life? - So there can never be two sides to a story, in his court you are deemed guilty. period.

No amount of "I was just angry" or " I am sorry" should be enough to coax Jhanak back ! No not even falling at her feet begging for forgiveness (if ever a guilt ridden Ani strives to do so that is)

It requires complete realisation from his part on how wrong this was at so many levels ! He needs to be a reformed human being first before any progress for RuNak can happen.

I hate writing this because I had really hoped that Ani would be different, but atm no woman deserves him and he does not deserve any woman.

If all this was to motivate Ani to proceed with his wedding with Arshi, then makers should really have handled this better. My worst fears with the introduction of a parallel lead coupled with Ani's jealousy, possessiveness and insecurities have taken shape !

And now that Jhanak is back in Basu house, a feat that makers have stumped us with , yet again, I shudder to think the field day the "Humne toh pehle hi kaha tha tumhe" gang will now have !

Bold- I have lived through this. Multiple times with the same words thrown about my character. Such people do exist. And they do come back crying like a kid saying I am sorry. I just got angry. Hence why I always maintain that verbal abuse is much worse if not as equal as physical abuse.

I walked away. Ideally for this, Jhanak should walk away too. No amount of help, respect or love can heal the wounds caused by sharp and vitriolic words spewed from the mouth, you can't take them back. The stay in your heart and keep wounding you every single day because it is the person you loved and trusted.

The problem is that she cannot overstep her bounds to hug her sister's fiance (Technically). That would just mean she is the same as her mother, which we still don't know much about considering Shrishti's hatred towards them both without proper info and flashbacks.

This is why Ani has to be the person to take the first step; his reaction matters since he is the core of the Basu family. Just like how his admission of Jhanak being his wife in public changed the dynamics within the family and RuNak, his admission of love for Jhanak will do the same if not more to change the equations even further. The only thing Jhanak can do after realizing her love for Ani is essentially remove herself from his life and him from hers, so she doesn't suffer a heartbreak more than she is now. And to save her sister's life.

On her principles and Ideals, she won't take a step further unless Ani assures her, she is the one he loves, and vice versa with Ani. Hence, they are stuck between a rock and hard place doing the devil's tango infinitely.

Ani's overprotective instincts for Jhanak come before anything else, his family, his fiancé, and his love for Jhanak. He wouldn't hesitate for a second to lock her in a room if it assures him that she is safe. I don't know if there is a possibility he would do it for his possessiveness, that seems to be growing by the minute since the past two episodes. This is probably the reason he will be the dominant husband, otherwise, he usually chills out as seen by how he behaves with Arshi. People may say Of Course since he doesn't love Arshi, but in his mind, he does from my POV (though it isn't true). So why would he behave any differently with Arshi theoretically? Arshi is not in any immediate danger, nor is she naive like Jhanak. That's why. She behaves according to his calculations, Jhanak doesn't. Jhanak is a wild variable in his life, one he finds out of his control.

His previous dialogue with multiple family members have shown that. He is very impulsive by nature. Many a times he is doing, saying or acting things without even giving a thought and with no sense-especially in case of jhanak with a thought of some other person coming in her life or loosing her from his life. Jhanak is an integral part of his life or we can say she is his life. For him , her going away means loosing his life . We have seen this multiple time him acting crazy may it be in hospital or shaadi. Once they have sort out their feeling for each other and he knows she is his, this insecurity will be gone. He will be possessive though.

I am not defending Ani as in real life it may not be easy to live with such kind of people and his actions are wrong but I think I am able to understand his feelings.
