Power, not in a real sense, but the hype that she holds the power of the house, and everyone is dancing around her tunes, at least for a long time until Abhira arrives.

Armaan is used to this sense that he needs approval from this fake powerful lady who is making everyone dependent and fearful in their life and her favorite Vidya. Think about a child, who arrived at a new house with a dad who is not strong enough to fight for him, so he didn't have any option other than pleasing these people.

Kaveri has strong control over people in PH that everyone is convinced that she’s always right so much so that they are scared to oppose or disappoint her.

Armaan is insecure about his place in the family and is overly protective of his tag as “golden boy” and wouldn’t want to let of it as to him the tag is what makes him relevant/ useful for the PH.

Oddly enough I think he subconsciously doesn’t feel the need to please his father, Manoj or Manisha maybe because they never guilt tripped him .

He could also be upset with Madhav due his past behaviour but I’m not clear what exactly happened to Ar’s biological mother .

@bold, yes, currently, that's the case. He put years' of effort from childhood to get accepted by these people, and now it's time that he doesn't want to lose it.

As a child he didn't have any option other than pleasing them as Madhav was not strong enough to fight for him.

I also feel he never talks about his own mom as he always is trying not to upset Vidya and dadi sa. I am sure his heart cries for his mom and misses her. Until recently, Vidya never protected him from the verbal abuse he got from other family members for his birth mom.

I'm so confused. If it's a deal marriage, why does Armaan have to spill every detail to Abhira and vice versa? We fans can see it's not just a deal marriage, it's real. But for them, a deal marriage means being fake. He even prays at Gangaur that their marriage is fake but she gets all the happiness and a good husband. So, if two people are in a contract marriage without any feelings for each other, why should they share every secret and be transparent? Isn't marriage supposed to be a deal?

But Armaan writing and going out with Ruhi and giving her side eyes, that's definitely wrong, WHY because she's his brother's wife. But does Armaan have any obligation to tell Abhira about his Rumaal love story? No! Hypothetically, if Abhira had an ex and still had some residual feelings for him, does she have to be transparent with Armaan about it? No, that's her personal choice.

But do I want Rumaal to get busted? Hell yes! They cheated on Rohit, pushed him to the edge to leave his own house, and deceived the whole family. Armaan and Ruhi should definitely get kicked out of the house for this!

I don't think she owns everything.Sanjay ka I understand because he wants the firm and she is someone who takes all the decisions in the family.

Madhav and Manoj are too scared and respectful towards her.
