Seems like it to me. Selfless friend in love with girl but she doesn’t know it. Enter handsome stranger who she falls for, who’s seemingly “perfect” (but might unravel later), heartbreak/breakup, ends up married to old friend who doesn’t tell her how he feels. Eventually falls for him as first one goes nuts. This is the vibe I’m getting (so far). Let’s see
a nice addition is that they added a traumatic backstory to friend’s character which saad didn’t have.

Haha, in a way the bare outline is the same.
But it helps that the characters are more nuanced...And it helps that you dont have to hear "yeh ruswayee joh meine pyaar mein kamaayeeeeeee"... every two minutes
The female lead is someone who is going to empower the male lead so that is an interesting angle. Moreover a whole cast of characters including ones to be played by Nauman Ejaz and Nadia Afgan are yet to be introduced. So it is definitely more interesting that MPHT.

I actually don’t mind that it’s similar to it. There was a lot left to uncover in MPHT which Badar didn’t explore so maybe this one might delve into it. I just started the first episode awain to check it out but didn’t expect to like it as much as I did 👏
Hiba’s character is the stark opposite of Maheer for starters. So that’s refreshing. Saad and Salaar will be tough for me to judge. Wahaj was great as Saad but the script kind of did him dirty in the last third. In this one the focus is on Zain right now so hopefully will be able to judge Salaar better in a few more episodes. But performance wise, Sherry has pleasantly surprised me. He and Hiba have good scenes together as well. I’m also enjoying the struggles of the two elder sisters so I wonder where that’ll go. It’s such a toxic household. The only exhausting dynamic for me is Zain’s aunt and mom’s so far.

Waiting
Always like to watch love after marriage kinda story and here toh we are going to see character's growth too.
Me too. I am waiting to see how Imaan brings out strong Salaar. He will be fighting world for her. He was even willing to ride his step bros car eventhough it was pretty established that he is very afraid of him. He even cut his call for Imaan and this was just a trailer. And imaan slowly getting over her past love and falling for Salaar. I already see lots of potential in the show.
Really enjoying Radd <3 I honestly thought it would be a guilty pleasure or roastable..but it has actually turned out to be a pretty good watch!
- My pendu self needs to make one confession - I really liked Zain!
I dont know if it is Arsalan who has improved or the character itself is beautifully written atm..but I am more invested in Zain-Emaan..the kitchen scene had sparks flying!
- Sherry is acting really well tbh!
- This is Hiba's year!
GO HIBAAAAA!

I am telling this since beginning but dekho kisi ko Meri baat samaj nai aati. I like Zain and I don't think Arslan is bad.. May be not very good or best but definitely not bad..
There’s something off about Arsalaan’s hair game in this. I keep wondering if it’s a wig 🤦🏻♀️ I know it isn’t but it’s just weird
