Then may be they'll give him a long redemption arc. And make him worthy of Abhira, like they did with her mumma and papa. Her mumma too had a past like Armaan and she let go of it completely and became a better person with Abhira's papa. Same might happen with Armaan too. He'll understand his folly, go through the pain of separation with Abhira and then make himself a better person for Abhira.
