Ani’s anger on J has subsided as she finally took a stand for herself.. so no more taunt contest.. and he surely would want her focusing on her career.. as he mentioned that he was doing a lot of background work on that.

He is just short tempered , he says sorry so many times ...but off late no .Their relationship is more than this sorry and thankyou.

The way he shouted at her for that dress issue and then came back evening shopping as if nothing happened and fed her food .🤷🏻‍♀️

I think I talked about this before, but he seems to draw some boundaries with his relatives... albeit to a lesser extent with the good ones. Maybe a defense mechanism to his childhood trauma within Basu house. Even with Appu di, sometimes he doesn't seem genuine.

From my POV, Jhanak seems to have the singular ability to provoke Ani's genuine emotions.... be it anger, jealousy, hurt, concern, frustration, or happiness. I also felt scared when he said "Phenk dho isse" to Jhanak about the wedding clothes. Similarly how he was pleading to her in the hospital..."Jhanak tumhe utna hoga, please wapas aa jao jhanak" and so many more examples to state.That is why Ani will have such a passionate love towards Jhanak which when he realizes will make him question himself and his life up to that point.

Jhanak may love him deeply, but Ani loves her more passionately.

Exactly this Anusha! I was going to say the same thing as part of my episodic review.

Jhanak is the only person with whom Ani is his truest self - be it anger, be it rudeness, be it passion, happiness, jealousy, love - Ani shows his truest emotions only and only with Jhanak and for Jhanak.

With all the others, there is this restraint that he has, that he subconsciously brings in.
