Meesam gave better expression in her few minutes than haya in whole TB
She had the perfect expressions! The way her eyes were moving on Haya's face when Haya was accusing, was just perfect! Meesam was like 'Had she lost it? Whose is this crazy lady screeching at my mama?

Its the tear drop on his hand for me 😭
And the way he just knew she loved him… making way for that scene “Meerab tumhain HUMARI mohabbat ki kasam… Sab ko faraamosh ker doon ga, sirf tum per yakeen karoon ga…”
He never doubted their love for a second. Until the whole elopement thing with maryam forced him to second guess her love for him 😢

This scene was a beauty!
However, this scene, at least for me, was more for Meerab than for Murtasim though. Murtasim knew she loves him way before this, only that she was reluctant (and scared too) to accept it to herself, let alone accepting out loud. For Meerab, her love had to be forgiving - like his always was for her. She held him accountable for series of presumed 'crimes', emotionally that is what held her back always. One of the last grudge she held against him was the system he represented - Meerab's ideologies were strongly against the feudal system and patriarchal nature that subdued its women and their choices. He was at the helm of that system - so for Meerab, he represented the system, as the leader, he manoeuvred it, he got everything he wanted and wished for - women are rendered powerless, while the men had all the power, and in Meerab's eye, he was the one who had all and enjoyed it all.
The same day of this scene, before going for shopping, she tells him that she knows his love for her, but manogi tab, jab main tumse tum jaisi mohabbat karo - simple, he loves her with all her faults, despite everything, but she is not there, not yet, so she will hold it to herself. So when he revealed that he too lost his passion, had to give up his life choices, had to make sacrifices in this system just like her (and like the girls of the family), that he had not embraced being the 'sarbarah' of the family merrily and that he had no interest in the system he represented which she held him accountable for - there was nothing she could hold against him - seeing him so vulnerable, bearing his heart to her - her love was liberated. She who was stubborn as a mule, knew shedding a tear for his pain and his loss would be the direct give away - not for him, for her(her monologue in Ep. 38), so she held back, stubbornly holding her tears, but when he softly cups her face, the dam breaks - the final shackle is broken, she let go of everything, knowing that she is truly enamoured by the man in front her. I loved the fact that they gave no dialogues for Yumna and she showed all the right emotions in this scene.

Those were beautiful and dissect-worthy - and I for sure, couldn't get enough, so dissecting scenes seemed to be the perfect solution to have more of them
According to writer Haya was written in a manner that people sympathize with her as she was suffering from one sided love. But no one felt her pain in fact her expressions were cringe. Her character was written good as compared to meerab but she didn't deliver good performance.
As an antagonist, Haya's character was written very well. Agreed - it was clear from some full scenes and the way some scenes were executed, the makers wanted sympathy for her - at least till she decided to almost kill Meerab and then went ahead to present her sister to the arch nemesis of the family on a platter in the name of her 'love' (she never loved Murtasim, hence the quotation)! She had ample screen space, especially for a character that did not need to show an elaborated arc as it was a negative one from the beginning. But I agree with you, except for the finale episode, the portrayal of Haya is mediocre - especially the body language and voice modulations were monotonous - most of the time, I didn't like the dialogue delivery. But she did well in the finale episode - I loved her final close up.
His voice and voice modulations has the perfect quality and 'screen presence' - you can literally 'see' the emotions just by hearing most of his dialogues
And the different ways of saying 'Chalo Meerab' - each one is a different emotion
