TWM, that goddamn naagin... happily says she prepared in advance. She asks Parvati to bring the container with Haldi and the rest of the ladies continue the vile conversation. Appu di spills Haldi on Ani as Parvati brings the Haldi from upstairs.

To Haldi jisse hona tha Hogaya...

Chotton exclaims "Rake hori mare ke" in plain amusement and happiness.

Indeed, humans cannot intervene in divine plans...

Ani is confused by Chotton's words as Jhanak stares anxiously as Tammi notices. Parvati scrapes the Haldi from Ani and they start the ceremony.

F you SK, what a biatch. J tumhare Ashirwad naa le, wo hi better hai. Dono what's her problem... Shouldn't she be happy and jumping in hoy J is leaving??

Anyway, some bengali song plays as the ceremony continues.

Different ladies give Ani curious looks with his Haldiwala shirt. But Chotton and Appu are happy, maan mein ladoo phoot rahe the indono ko But none of the others notice them... Bro

Then Tammi says one more ritual, she has to step on the lamps(?) and say "Aami amar aiboro naam go chalam" meaning she is losing her maiden name now...

Ani and Jhanak feel a sense of loss because it is final now that she is leaving... and with tears, J faces Ani and says the words, implying this is a farewell between them.

J is then sat and made to snaan with holy water... as "Aur ho" from Rockstar plays

Aur ho aur ho saans ka shor hu anch bhi aur bade

These lines perfectly predict the predicament Ani is in... his breath and the heat in his body increasing by the second... he wants to burn himself and her to ashes, to nothing, to prevent the very thing currently happening from happening before his eyes, he yearns to do something in this very moment that can bring him peace and content. But he doesn't know what to do... as he has not realized 100% what it is that is hurting him. The boy is confused and in pain...

Tanuja says to Jhanak please don't forget this huge favor we did on you... that she doesn't deserve Taklu uncle...

The rest of the vile ladies converse about how happy they are that Jhanak is leaving. Glad to see SK is still not believing in Ani. Then they talk about this lame-ass excuse of how Taklu uncle has to stay covered and he has to leave since his nonexistent papa Swaargvaasi honewala. All the Basu ladies breathe a sigh as the wedding will still take place.

Ani has totally given up, pleading to God to do this one favor... to bring him and Jhanak back together, his other half, his twin soul... he wonders what went wrong that he and Jhanak are now separated. Jhanak's and his decision have now led to them being on separate ways when they were supposed to travel this beautiful journey together... He is fighting with his memories and his self that feels guilty towards Arshi to whom he is committed. There is no sleep in his eyes, his world broken and tears filling them.

Hearing his singing, Jhanak comes and quietly listens to him. Her eyes tear up and she longs to comfort him seeing a broken man holding the guitar, hugging it for comfort. She places her hand on his shoulder which alerts him into questioning why she is here...

"Ji.. meine aapko diye toufe pehne...socha ek baar dikha doon aapko. Appke diye hue saari, aapke diye hue gehne... mandap meine jaane se pehle aapke pair chooke aashirwad lena chahti hoon Sir ji"

Jhanak wants to meet him one last time... any excuse for that. She wants to have his blessing one last time for she knows she won't get it again, not in front of others...

The longing looks Ani gives her... he wants her to be his bride, dressed in his choice.

Ani then asks the question that has been in his mind ever since chotton instigated on the topic.

"Tumne Shaadi ko sach mein maan liya?"

Ani hopes against all hopes that she says no. But aisa nahi hua... it pinches him in his heart that she doesn't consider their marriage unlike the one happening now...

"Haan sirji... jyun nahi? Itna acha parivaar mila, itna acha ladka... ye log mujhe kush rakehnge..."

Jhanak is trying to convince herself to believe in this and Ani to let her go.... not understanding that from his POV these are daggers piercing his heart...

Unable to understand (?) why Ani is tearing uo, she stupidly brings Arshi's name... irritating him. He cuts her off promptly.

"Pranam karne ayi thi na... hogaya. Ab chali jao. Tumhe meri aason ke chinta karne ki zarrorat nahi hai..."

Ani is lashing out again, how words that come out of your mouth can get twisted in anger, denoting a completely different menaing. He wants her to care for his tears, but his hurt and ego won't let him be honest.

Hurt by his words, Jhanak goes in a completely different tangent of self depreciation...

"Haan sahi kaha... meri aaukat hi kya hai?"

Poor Jhanak, the minute Ani said Jhanak is a maid to her has caused her deep wounds. It has not faded away, affecting her self-worth.

Ani in his hurt drives the wound even deeper...

"Janti ho to bhul kyu rahi ho..."

Why Ani, why even now?? Do you not know these words hurt her the most?? Ani can really be cruel in anger and hurt.

" Maaf kardijiye, galti hogayi..."

"Galti ek baar nahi hui, sou baar hui hai, hazaar baar hui hai,Lakhon baar hui hai"

War of the words escalates again, why do these two consider pain as the first preference??

"Ab to mat chilalye naa, aaj jaa rahi hoom main... humesha ke liye..."

The tiredness and exhaustion in her voice kills me... even now Ani is not granting her wish to speak lovingly when she is leaving, because he is so lost in his own pain...

"Tum kush ho na??"

You asked her to be happy... didn't you? Do you not mean it??

"Mein Kush kyun nahi hogi? ek besahara acha parivaar, acha ladka, sab mila hai"

She is saying this for you Buddu. Can you not see her sardonic smile??

This is not what you mean Ani. You fear that all the memories you had with her, all that you know of her are being disproved by her current words.... your helplessness is coming out as dissatisfaction and disappointment. See a little deeper into her eyes, you will know whether you thought of were lies or truths... Are you so blind in your pain that you cannot see hers??

Words once said can never be taken back, they are the most powerful weapon mankind has in their arsenal and Ani sure knows how to use it to his advantage. He hurts her because he is hurt in turn... and this is one of the biggest obstacles in their relationship... to see past their own feelings... to be a bit more observant and objective...

Well, thank goodness we don't have a precap to add more pain to the already painful episode...

I really just want Jhanak out of this house….like RuNak should take some pause because this is not working for me anymore. Ani needs to see what he lost because he can’t cherish it. No matter how Mary you are t someone you love, you don’t resort to destructive and hurtful language. In that way, should your partner be afraid to talk to you, even if it’s something wrong? Should they be afraid of getting shamed? Ani cannot talk to arshi how he talks to Jhanak, so it’s not even about being that way normally, it’s just the power dynamics between him and Jhanak makes his respect so flimsy and convenient for him. He saw arshi and her mom is ugly her on stage, no reprimand to them. He saw her almost die and blamed his family, next episode he is joining them to insult. He saw shristi bring an old man, Jhanak gets all the blame for saying yes because she wants to escape your house of horrors, but even after Choton says it over and over, no confrontation of your family and the one who brought avinash. Why can’t ani just rip their false pretences and ask if Avinash is really good and take them up on that? How can insulting Jhanak be good in any form when that is why she wants to leave? This looks like some dysfunctional, toxic romance you see in movies. Will Jhanak be truly respected and feel protected in this relationship? Sorry to say, but the gaping holes are so obvious that I can see the multiple separation between them because the couple has no foundation, and ani is the greatest contributor. For me, it’s best for both And Jhanak most, if she lives and gets to experience life elsewhere. Ani should also man up in that time, and learn honesty, as well as the fact that love shouldn’t be hurtful or manipulative.

As I said, in Krushal's words:"Mujhe kabhi kabhi Ani samaj mein nahi aata"

Both are relatively new and don't have any power over the script year. Look what happened to the Padosi show, they say one of the reasons is because the ML and PL were dating, they didn't like the fact PL was turning negative and they fought with the CVs about it and got booted instead.
