This is the mindset of people who were smart as a kid and got good grades without much hard work. Even in other areas they get by easily compared to other.

So as they grow up they start thinking they are very intelligent just not interested that's why things are not working out. Not realising things need hard work and dedication.

I have done research on this topic because i myself was guilty of having this mindset. Very regressive mindset.
