Ruhi has become more unlikeable for me now. Garvita is not making Ruhi look any better due to her performance. Prats actually due to her really amateur acting managed to make Ruhi look less evil I'd say. Whereas new Armaan is making Armaan look less cringe despite his overall characterization and pendulum behavior being intact still.

Tabhi to prats ko liya tha kyoki wo evil nhi lgti thi. Jealous hone ke bad b masoom lgti thi like chhoti ruhi.

if they wanna salvage ruhi they need to force more sister bonding scenes. It may look fake but if they stick with it, especially Ruhi being genuinely elder sister like and not petty, then it may help redeem her a tad bit.

Not sure if Garvita can pull it off though

But i suppose if she channels offscreen into the onscreen with Abhira, it may work.

charu toh alag hi level ki romantic and delulu hai. Matlab banda umr mein kaafi bada hai, uska boss hai, divorcee hai, baccha hai. but she's barely shown thinking about all that. for small merices she asked him if she is a rebound. he said no. so she's like- great, lets do nibba nibbi things now. kuch bhi!

matlab even if we assume that she is insanely attracted - but uska past sunke thoda toh she should hesitate.

if nothing she should hesitate about keeping relations with her boss and how that will impact her career. she was shown to be very keen to make her career. so its crazy that she is not considering how she will be seen as someone who is doing such things with boss for professional gains especially when he has so much baggage.

plus she has never been shown as emotionally mature enough in the show to justify her being able to actually accept a man with a complicated past.

neither are any of the interactions between Charu and Dev so intense that they can claim she has connected so much at an intellectual an emotional level that she doesnt care for his past. in all her problems it is Abhira/Armaan who have stood up for her in her life thus far.

so I am rooting for this Charu dev love story to fail. its really impractical. and I want Abhira to help her realize that pyaar mein itna bhi pagal nahi hona chahiye that you dont consider everything. IF she genuinely has weighed everything and is prepared to be the second wife, a step mother - then it makes sense to move forward. I hope Abhira can show Charu what she is getting herself into. Infact would be good if Abhimaan are a team. They can show the example of how Vidya struggled emotionally to deal with her spouses child from another woman. Bacche ki galti nahi hai but it affects dynamics of a spouse relationship to have all this baggage. to deal with the knowledge that your partner has loved before, has been emotionally/physically intimate with another.

Abhira's dad himself accepted a woman with a past. But it took a lot of time before their compromise of a living arrangement became a real marriage and the circumstances were different. so while it makes sense that Abhinavs daughter would be as progressive and would not be bound by shackles of norms/societal pressures like her father, i think in Charu case she should oppose her Pyaar

Based on current characterization, it would make sense if Abhira opposes Charu-Dev while Ruhi-if she finds out- supports it because she seems to have no semblance of logic, practical thinking when it comes to "love". Tabhi toh 2 min infatuation ko pyaar bolti hai and she married one brother to be near another and dreams of EMA. And Armaan who knows the pain of heartbreak (even though its really infatuation), and who has seen from close quarters the marriage of his step mom and father and how he felt as the child of the "other" woman should also oppose Charu's relationship with dev. Moreover atleast in Vidya-Madhav case, the first woman is DEAD. here the woman is alive and still around to create problems. She will remain in Dev's life as a coparent to their child forever.
