That’s interesting. I kind of took that the scene after she asks him and leaves, there is this small smile on her face, as if she understands his answer is yes. Like, as if both of them had already confirmed the answer about missing each other. And wow, do you praise Ani.

How to be confident? Ani is literally engaged and with all the evil Arshi has done, not once has confronted her in front of everyone, made it clear his thoughts and talked about how it’s affecting their relationship, and how he could leave her for it….make her understand that he won’t tolerate it. If he can still be with Arshi despite what she has done to Jhanak, if I was Jhanak, I would think he is either too crazy for Arshi or he doesn’t really care that deep for me. Makers missed wonderful opportunities to show subtle changes. Ani used to lie a lot about helping Jhanak and could also look away/softly rebuke when Arshi was mean to her (or at least, he scolded but it has no effect on their relationship). Makers should have drafted in how you can’t control yourself in love. Instead of that unneeded feeding scene that looks so forced and caused more trouble for Jhanak, makers should have shown how Ani is now struggling to lie about helping Jhanak because subconsciously, he doesn’t hate it and doesn’t feel the need to hide it or explain to others. And also tied this in with his drift from Arshi, by showing how he can no longer resist strongly reacting to her actions against Jhanak and making it clear in subtle terms the lowering importance of Arshi relative to Jhanak for him.

My my , what a beautiful RuNak scene in the 10th April episode!

The undercurrents of longing and the if only was so clearly visible in their eyes.

I quite like how with every scene now they are so clearly showing how Ani is the most important person in Jhanak's life, despite what she keeps bhak bhaking, in her heart he is number 1.

I love such emotional scenes which so clearly establishes the place the other holds in their lives, and I love it even more that the makers chose this route to very clearly show the RuNak equation and did not have to use lollipop cliche romance scenes at all!

It also immensely helps to have actors like Krushal, and Hiba too in these episodes especially, who elevates the scenes to levels not in paper with their amazing acting!

I think it has more to do with the fact that everyone compares her to Arshi and Props her up. Saying Jhanak doesn't look good, she is not comparable to Arshi, what if she moves her legs and hands, is that considered dance yada yada yada... In addition, the fact of the matter is the entire family supports Arshi over her for Ani. Even Chotton and Bodomaa try to explain to her but have never openly stated in front of the family in support of Jhanak. So, it stands to the fact that Jhanak will feel inferior, hence she keeps reminding herself and others of her station- that of a maid.

It might look repetitive and annoying, but it is expected from someone of her mental state.

Maybe she also wants to hear it from Ani that she is beautiful and wants him to see her as a woman- if you know what I mean, an object of desire. Ani has never openly shown that to Jhanak except in our FFs and imagination lol. . Maybe a close one would be the pink saree scene, photoshoot time tho she didn't see him see her. So...

It’s hard to believe how naive of her to not understand she is beautiful and talented. Jhanak has been praised for her dance at more than one event na, and to top that, she also did a modeling project.
