All right, just a long update on the most relevant scene for the day... the RuNak conversation.

The scene starts with a more expanded version than yesterday, with Ani asking Jhanak to keep the clothes in his room and a promise that he'll make sure she wears them at her wedding functions. Jhanak refuses saying that his family has given more than enough for which he responds that they are not good enough.

I swear, Ani baba ke liye Jhanak ko sab kuch best hona chahiye. smiley36

Jhanak replies that not everything suits everyone which irritates Ani.

"Jhanak tum apni maa ki ek lauti beti ho, tumhara standard of living kitna acha tha, haan tumhari maa maid ki kaam karthi thi lekin tumahre liye kuch kasar nahi chodi, meine meri aankhoein se dekha, isliye tum ye sab maat kaho ki mujhe ye sab suit nahi karta"

It hurts Ani to see Jhanak living in dire straits, a woman so exuberant and lovely, the apple to her mother's eyes so visibly reduced to poverty. It also hurts him more to see her refuse his gift albeit indirectly.

Seeing him speak so caringly about her and her mother brings tears to her eyes, which gives Ani enough ammunition to try and convince her again of canceling her marriage and concentrate on her career.

"Tumhari maa ka bdla lena tha, aur tum sab chodke dood patri jaa rahi ho"

The concern visible in his face, Ani wants to bring Justice to Urvashi maashi whom he respectsAn a lot.

Jhanak on the other hand only laments that she does not have those opportunities anymore, angering Ani.

"Maukha diya tha, tumne liya nahi... muh pher liya. Jhanak tumne apni zindagi khud barbad kar li hai, aur mein iss cheez keliye tumhe kabhi maaf nahi karunga..."

Therein comes his true anger. The fact that she is sabotaging her own life that he helped build. ANi is 100% right though, albeit a bit blunt and harsh.

He then goes on to talk about how her ads are the hottest item and he knows since he is the one who keeps track of things. Jhanak is surprised at the concern Ani has for her and asks in wonder.

"Aap itna karte hai mere liye??"

What overwhelming happiness and grateful she has that Ani still thinks about her even now after all their arguments and disagreements. It's hard to get such a person in our life and am sure Jhanak is aware of it,

Ani then further elaborates on his point saying this is why I wanted you to take it slower and asks for one promise in return at the least.

"Acha tum vaada karo, dood patri vapas jaake tum graduation puri karoge.... to mein usse baat karungi, atleast vo tumhe exams dene se saktha hain na??"

Ani's concern for Jhanak shines through, the single trait of his that I am sure made every one of us ladies fall in love with him in the forum, his absolute wish for Jhanak to complete her studies, to the point even he is willing to talk to a man he loathes and wants no part in Jhanak's life. What an excellent character to have in Jhanak's partner.

Jhanak replies that she is not sure, and it is in the hands of her would-be husband, and requests Ani not to exacerbate the issue by talking about this as people can misconstrue their relationship.

"Kya maatlab hai tumhara? Mein bilkul baat karungi.... wo bada buisness man hai na? agar unki wife graduation complete kiya tho uski garv ki baat haina?"

Ani's confusion is evident from this set of words... He cannot fathom why someone would have a issue with Jhanak studying.... and an indicator as to what he considers his asset. It's not wealth, but knowledge. Typically, Bengali and a mark of a good person!Bo

Again, the soft tone in which he talks about her future makes Jhanak emotional and she in turn reveals more vulnerability in front of him, touched by his kindness.

"Itna sochte hai aap mere liye?? Mein parson chali jaungi... phir itni fikar kyun? Maat kijiye naa, apni focus kijiye apni life pe "

Jhanak's heartfelt adoration and request for Ani. Like him to her, she also wants the best for him.smiley27

Both get very awkward at the display of vulnerability between them and Jhanak to distract asks him if he will invite her to his marriage. It's funny to see Ani refuse on point, kinda implying he is desperate not to see her ruined self.

"Nahi. Mein abh kudh mana kar raha hoon... "

When asked for a reason, he has none and deigns to give a proper one.

"Kyun ka Jawab nahi de saktha... mein bas tumhe meri shaadi mein nahi dekhna chahtha..."

Oh, my Ani, when you think, you don't want to see the person who married you before, there are two reasons. One, the split was acrimonious, or two you still hold lingering feelings. You kn"ow which one and when you do... why do you insist on marrying someone else.?

Jhanak takes it differently, thinking her presence is a bother...

"Agar waja bata denge to zabardasti apni shakal nahi dikaungi shaadi mein..."

My poor baby Jhanak. smiley38

"Koi wajah nahi hai mere paas, nahi mere family ko, haan Shristhi maasi tumhari husband through tumhe invite de sakthi hai..."

Ani boi, you are just breaking her heart man... look at her trying hard not to cry!smiley19

"Dekhna ab shrishti aunty tumhe pehle ki tarah treat nahi karegi, ab deere deere unhe samjne laga hoon.."

At least some part of his brain is active, probably because it concerns Jhanak lol. smiley36

Jhanak's response to this statement is out of his expectations, making him flabbergasted.

"Mein nahi chahti ki aap mere maasi ke baare mein kuch ghalat socho ya kaho...."

I know a lot of people think Jhanak is stupid, even Ani does. But IMHO, this is perfectly in line with her character. Never once in the show has, she talked degradingly about anyone even when retorting back to Basus and others. That's not Jhanak, and that in itself is a strength: to maintain standards while showing spine. And am sure it is a quality that attracted Ani towards her. And I know it can be exasperating at times seeing her but am more than glad that her character has not been butchered more than before.

"Rahi Apki shaadi ki baat ki, mein nahi aungi... ek baar yahan se jaungi na dubara meri shakal thak nahi dikaungi.."

"Mein dekhna bhi nahi chathi, itna acha husband hai tumhara, itna acha susral hai, tum wapas lautkar aungi kyun?"

"Yahi tho chahti thi aap, aapi tho kaha tha ki agar acha ladka mil jaaye tho mein shaadi ki karcha utaungi..."

"Haan kahan tha mein, tum bhi koi kam excited naahi thi. Kyun haan ki thi shaadi ke liye??Jab saath din kaha gaya tha shaadi ke liye... tumne kyun kaha tha mujhe teen din mein karni hai??"

"Yeh hai ki mein laalchi hoon, aapne sahi kaha the mere liye. Mein bahot laalchi hoon."

"Taunt mar rahi ho?"

"Nahi, bas apki kahi hui shabdon ko dohara rahi hoon..."

Such familiarity and right to be honest and question the other, a glimpse into their unbreakable but unrecognized husband-wife bond. Both are conveying yet not their complaints, their wishes and yearnings, dancing this devil's tango infinitely.

Jhanak sensing there will be no progress in their conversation decides to leave to avoid further arguments. But before she can do so, Ani asks her to keep the clothes in her room, and stops her for a minute, knowing he wouldn't have a chance to ask her the question he most wanted the answer to. Something to soothe his tumultuous heart.

"Jhanak... Suno, Jab tum shaadi karke sasural chale jaoge, kya tum mujhe miss karoge??"

Ah Ani. Isn't this the question which matters the most to you?? Whether she has you in her heart like you have her in yours??smiley42

"Jiss sawal ko jawab jaante hai, to puch kyun rahe?"

Jhanak baby. You need to be more open with words! What he wanted to hear was "Haan, bahot yaad karungi appko", not this!smiley14

And the song that plays... moh moh ke daage. The lines are so apt...

Ke aisa beparwah mann aisa tho na tha

Chitiyon ko jaisa milgaya jaisa ek naya patha

Ke aisa beparwah maan aisa tho na tha

Khaali raahein hum aankein moonde jaye

pahonchein kahi to bewajah

Ani's heart feels so joyful, light, and careless after asking this question. Finally, a huge burden lifted from his heart. His heart which used to feel empty as he walked aimlessly before has now found its way home, one that he yearned for without knowing all along. All his unsaid thoughts like the letters that he can finally direct to and deliver to someone with a definitive address, Jhanak. He is simply basking in these unprecedented and deep notions he is experiencing for the first time in his life. Again, a remainder to us viewers how Ani is so hopelessly in love with Jhanak. He needs her because he loves her; she is his journey and destination.

"Agar mein yahi sawall apse pucho tho?"

As much as Ani wants the answers, a part of Jhanak spurred by the fact she will leave soon is also brave enough to ask the question to which she longs an answer for.

"Aapna itne time se apne ghar mein rakha, itna kyaal rakha, iss hadh tak khi apne jaan tak katre mein dal dhi, har kadam pe itna saat dya mera, aur ab finally iss ghar se jaa rahi hoon. Kya ab miss karenge mujhe?"

Jhanak's innermost feelings are laid bare... to strengthen her line of questioning as a last request from Ani. So beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.

And the lines reflecting Jhanak's mind at this point... as all the memories flood her, describe them so well. The little quirk in her eyebrows as she nudges Ani for an answer...smiley9

Tu hoga zaara paagal tuney mujhko hai chuna

Tu din sa hain main raat aana dono miljaye shaamon ki tarah

Jhanak wonders if Ani is a little mad for helping her and placing her with so much importance. She very well knows Aniruddh is out of her station; he is bright and the center of attention like the sun, one who illuminates the life of everyone around him with his presence and his kindness just like how he did for Jhanak. He knows only how to give to others from her POV. Hence her previous comments about how he spends so much money for someone like herself; the night, the moon; one that inconveniences and troubles others by her mere presence, unwanted and a leech in every form according to her. Despite all this, her yearning for Ani only grows stronger with every passing minute with the dreadful realization that she is leaving him forever. And her wish for a union between them against all the odds, something beautiful, like the dusk formed by the union of night and the day; a tranquil time.

Accepting his silence as a defeat that she won't hear his answer and probably within her expectations, she silently retreats and leaves with unshed tears in her eyes. Resolving herself to not look back to him and waver. But for us viewers, we see Ani seeing her retreating form, longing evident in his eyes... as if reaching out to her to stop, only shy of doing it in real as he understands this is her decision to let go.

Yeh moh moh ke dage teri ungliyon se jaa uljhe

Koi toh toh na laage kis tarah girha ye uljhe

Very true, the thread of their desire is tied to each other's fingers, forming a complicated knot to untangle, currently with no solutions on the surface. But it only takes some amount of introspection within themselves to know that they are not just threads of desires, but the famed red threads of fate, designating each other's soul mate.

Somehow, it gives me the vision that Ani will be the one to follow her and bring her back when and if required... What a beautifully shot scene!! Both Krushal and Hiba displayed such impressive range of emotions, from yearning to vulnerability, to hurt and anger. Kudos!smiley31

Rest, I feel no need to explain.

Also special shoutout to Racho Ji! Loved your interpretation of the song lyrics...smiley20

wow… beautiful analysis … so well explained analysis broken for each sentence and song line related with the scene smiley32

I am liking the episodes these days because they are serving the scenes fill with emotional turmoil… my favorite piece..

If we get good half episode with such content, I am ready to put noise cleaner on my head for the noise that they show in other part.

Also, the noise these days are mostly about bursting their bubble by our boy once they have done pouring venom on our girl.

Chotton comic scenes are little forced for me but better than the noise.. maybe slowly his comic scenes will fall in sync with the script..

Saying all , I am loving the emotional churning scenes between Runak.. .. they kind of baring their pain.. love .. yearning in these scenes and thus making the episodes to something for which I watch the shows
Kya hoga.. extra log Kya rubbish bolte hai become secondary for me if these types of scenes are served.
