This guy is such a bad actor, iske bass ka nahi hai Majboor No. 2 ka role karna

And why does he get so angry each time Anuj shows concern for Maa? The way he interrupted their conversation today, itna possessive ye Maa ka Shahs ke liye jo pagalpan hai usko lekar kyon nahi hota?

Waise Maa and him can give a strong competition to each other in cringe expressions and who looks & acts the worst!

And also... Desert me Anupamaa kya banayegi? They also tend to judge contestants' baking skills.

And they have divided sweet dishes in different categories. Not every sweet dish is a desert. Hamare culture me mithai matlab mithai. Kuch log ghar me shaukiya cake banate hain (par ekdam basic)

I mean hamara food culture alag hai. We don't need to know baking for sure. But as an accomplished chef you need to know variety of international dishes. Home cook aur professional chef hone me yahi to fark hai.

As a home cook mai to Italian/Japanese/Thai/West African dishes banati rahti hu. To mai ye maan lu ki keval ek type ka food banakar ham kabil Chef ban jayenge?

I mean... Indian food is the "best" ka myth paalne aur food rankings (jiska koi valid reason nahi hota) par proud karke murkh bane rahne se behtar hota hai ki ham different cultures ko samjhe, flavors, ingredients ki variety ko jaane... Different cooking techniques ko seekhe! (Although ye mai manti hu ki Vegan food ke mamle me Indian food definitely best hai)

Lekin hame diversity ko samjhna chahiye, ham ye kahkar chutti nahi paa sakte ki jise hamari tarah ka food nahi pasand wo kuch janata nahi.

In fact... Pichle do saalo me maine through Japanese and Italian food culture, bina spices ke bhi food ko full of flavor banana seekha. And it turned out ki jinhe major digestive issues hain, unke liye bina oil aur spices ke bhi tasty dishes taiyar ki ja sakti hain.

And.. even though I'm not a meat eater and I would definitely not be able to handle meat in anyway. But at the same time, mujhe MasterChef jaise different cooking shows me Chefs ka different type ke meat se nayi dishes banana/unke bare me janana achha lagta hai. Aise lagta hai ki ham cheezo ko kai angle se dekhna aana chahiye. And because of that only I got to learn ki...Kitchen me Indian women sabse jyada mehnat karti hain ye ek myth hai. (I mean karti to hain but sabse jyada nahi). Vegetarian dishes taiyar karna utna difficult nahi hai. Na hi har desh me Frozen food khane ka culture hai. Japan/Middle East/Africa/South America.. yaha women bahut mehnat karti hain. Meat cutting se leker, unhe preserve karne, baking karne, home made cheese banane, fresh food taiyar karne me wo bahut mehnat karti hain. Also.. agar meat thik se cooked na ho, then it can make you seriously ill (you could die from it).

Especially in west.. they work with large piece of meat instead of using small chunks of meat as Indians do. It's really hard to cook meat perfectly.

So for variety of reasons, I love knowing different cultures and their food habits. And I would find really obnoxious, if makers decide to preach vegetarianism through Anupamaa's 500 panno ka bhashan.

But isn't that just halwa in a steel dabba? Ab steel ka dabba kaha se milega MAA ko international kompetishion me?

Jarur Majboor table ne apne cupboard ke kisi kone me rakh rakha hoga like that mangalsutra. Chapri nibba kahi ka

Yeah...I mean just because the lead is from India doesn't mean other cuisines are bad or that they should be shown in a negative light.

I have taken a liking to Korean cuisine myself and a ramen bowl is just perfect for those rainy and wintery days. Yes, Indian food is great but all cuisines have their own uniqueness that must be celebrated.

But I doubt makers will do anything like that. They might just show Anupama cooking only indian dishes and winning the competition regardless. Which from a professional perspective would make her a very one dimensional chef. You can have Indian as your speciality and still explore other cuisines or at least attempt to learn from them.

But yaha toh Anupama ka halwa cake hi jeetega with 500 page bhashan on aurat and maa and rasoi and bhartiya khana (again Indian food is great but come on, it's not the only kind of cooking in the world)

And I mean isn't the point of an international competition to test various methods and techniques from all over the world?

But nope, yaha se toh aisi koi hope nahi hai ki thodi positively dusre cultures/cuisines ko bhi portray kar de.
