Shahmeer was always talking about some sahih waqt which wasn't coming anytime soon. So doing it for his father's health is not something he thought to do earlier. He was using that chairman bait to get his work done.

Ok I get that but shahmeer saying that he has do it for his dad and is party is so wrong. Wasn't he the one who said that this is his mom's party and he promised her to take the party to new heights and that he'd be the future pm of the country.

Now he's showing it shibra as if he is been forced to join the party. I'm not really happy with this.

So he had quite a progression, started with teasers, got a drama and is now directing a movie.

He was already working for the party. He just wasn't ready to lead it yet. That's what I understood from it. His conversation with his mother kind of hinted at that. He was already feeling the load of responsibilities.

Shibra has concerns because he's not taking an ideal route as per her. But he's reiterating her that he's not just Dawood's son he's as much Zubaida's blood.
