But unfortunately he is giving mixed signals to Ruhi.

One day he is curt, next day he is panicking about Ruhi to go save her and spends all day consoling her without even answering a phone call or calling someone else for help. Why was he frantically searching for Ruhi in the first place. Why cant he ever delegate Ruhi issues to someone else.

Instead of telling Ruhi to mind her business and not question him about his equation with Abhira, or about why she's always stalking/eveasdropping what happens between him and Abhira , he justifies himself and says - "how can you doubt my intentions". That is the type of response you'd give your gf or wife if she questioned your closeness with another woman. When you are questioned by your ex about why you are close to another woman - the response should be- STFU, its not your business. He doesn't seem to be affected by how shes always so clued in to every interaction he has with Abhira. Thats creepy.

Moreover he is also completely unaffected by teasing of him-Abhira - not even to reflect on his actions and consider that he may be leading Abhira on if everyone is now seeing love and romance between them which according to him aren't there.

So he's giving wrong impression to both women.

Its infuriating to see that.

I haven’t watched the BTS fully. I prefer to wait for epis in general. I thought she almost came under the wheels of his car. There is a picture of RoPo and Anita Raj in the same costume. I am assuming she must have sent him to look for Ruhi. Isn’t this what they keep doing all the time, making him her chauffeur and what not. On him being more forthright with Ruhi, I am assuming he is refusing to acknowledge the level of her delusion. It comes to the fore and shocks him but he then sweeps it under the carpet. He is delulu at another level, wanting to believe the best about Ruhi and choosing to ignore everything that is bad. Maybe he is also worried that she would once again leave the house. I mean I hate it just as much that he chooses to voluntarily explain himself to her. With Abhira, he must be thinking that the others don’t know the truth of their marriage and so they’re assuming things. Abhira has time and again reminded him of the one year deal and so he probably doesn’t even consider the possibility of her falling in love with him. The most important reason of course is that DKP doesn’t want to let go of this cringe triangle. I am losing patience too and only holding on because I want to see Armaan and Ruhi have their asses kicked by Dadi sa once the truth comes out. After Abhira leaves him, I want to see Armaan grovel and beg for her pardon and love!

He might be ignoring Ruhi's delusion deliberately because:

1) it proves he made the worst choice. He supposedly fell in love with a woman who's not even capable of handling herself. A direct contrast to him and the image he had made up of Ruhi.

2) to get away form the guilt that he supposedly played any role in turning Ruhi like this. He might be thinking that Ruhi was oh-so-perfect and it was because of his actions, she's like this now.

all i can think of after seeing this hug is that Ar is too tired after giving long hugs to bhabhi so now he can't get up and is like "come to me baby"

Ngl i would've found this cute and romantic if i haven't seen the bts of Ar-Ru. I don't have energy to wait for AA. I hope they are not planning to mess this gen up by not making them the endgame. I really hope they don't ruin his ckt beyond repair. BhabhiMaan cringe needs to end

Actually exact opposite of what you just said. Makers do like 2.0+ trps which were there when Ruhmaan were at the centre. They did try to centre the story around Abhimaan and Alas it dropped below 2.0
