To me-he is not confused and is very clear about his feeling for jhanak. Since Jhanak has always pushed him away with harsh words and making him the culprit -he wants Jhanak to open up first.

His words on Holi, aaj mat rokna aaj rang lagana allow hai aur yeh rang tumhare dil par apni chaap chood kar hamesha zinda rahega-putting some thoughts in jhanak's mind to consider

I wish he is just buying time.. the precap, the suicide note, Arshi’s behavior today.. he still can’t think of marrying her..

I think if the groom was good, he would have stayed till the wedding and then escaped abroad leaving her behind.

I laughed like this when Ani said is buddha admi se shaadi. then yeh to haath paon bandkar dariya mein phekne ki barabaar hain. Something like that.

This man is completely evil he said a few things about women then corrected himself the way he's behaving it looks like after seeing Jhanak he decided to dump Tejas.
