That conversation bwteeen Hareem and her dad , then her and Laiba (including the flashback scene Laiba has of Hareem where she talks about power vs love)… such nicely written lines. Very impactful

I think this show belongs to Hina Bayat tbh. She’s the main for me here and about her redemption. Hareem is also getting some good scenes lately. Faiz is a prop for now lol

I think so too. Someone has done an excellent job in that area. Very very impactful, I agree. ☝️

The way they are expressing Hareem's state of mind is just too beautiful. But I always resonated with Hareem's portrayal in this drama even with her fear during the marriage and her silent fight with her in-laws. It's a shame that Faiz didn't get the same share of beautiful dialogues. I started watching for Faiz's sweet and shy love but lost him somewhere. Like you said, reducing him to prop. 16 episodes now with nothing from his side and how lame can it get.

Kehkasha obviously has a great story arc and she is equally impactful. I do enjoy watching her just don't like her character which in turn means she is delivering what the drama needs. The thing is what you are invested in. As a viewer if you are waiting for her redemption then I believe you will be very satisfied with the ending as they are taking her struggle with fake pride to a peak. Everyone else is more or less realising. I, unfortunately am waiting for closure for Faiz and Hareem and probably will be disappointed with the ending no matter what it is. I cannot believe they are sidelined Faiz like this. Who wants to watch Mudassir's emotions? Not me. Waste of SS.

Lol. I feel Hamna is least culpable in all this. She claimed her husband and worked as a great unit with her hubby. She was least concerned about everyone else. She was calm, composed and so confident what people around her will fight amongst themselves to solve her problems. Which is what happened actually.

Rayan and her just started making mistakes. Looking at the pace of this drama, I wonder when will there an opportunity to show their struggle and regrets. As long as they show Faiz's regret, I will be a happy viewer frankly. I hope they don't wrap that up quickly.

You’re right about it depending on what you’re invested in. Fortunately for me what’s happening in the story now IS what I was waiting for. The main thing for me was the downfall of that house, Kehkeshaan losing everything little by little and realizing the true faces of people around her. And basically getting what she deserves and hopefully learning from it. Hina Bayat is such a wonderful actress, I knew she would absolutely deliver and she is! For me this prolonged phase of realization from her side is novel because usually in dramas in the last episode the villain suddenly realises what they did wrong and turns over a new leaf - it’s all very abrupt, unrealistic and bizarre, not to mention lazy. Pakistani dramas struggle with closures anyway. So the fact that I’m getting that slow and painful journey of hers is a treat. I love to see her squirm lol. But then there’s also this quiet dignity and resilience in her which is admirable. Like when she gives some of her money to the house help today. So I love to see the different shades of her.

As for Hareem and Faiz, I’m not really invested in them but I do like them and want a happy ending for them. But it comes with conditions - Faiz has to deserve Hareem’s forgiveness first. And we have gone nowhere with that so far. I’ll admit that both were fools in their own right - Hareem for hiding the truth for so achingly long and not confiding in her clearly understanding husband - and Faiz for not meeting her at least once to clear things out. For me the crime is on both sides - both did dumb things. But since we have mostly focused on Hareem’s pov we are more sympathetic with her. She’s gotten some beautiful scenes which show her perspective on Faiz. Very well written.

I’m hopeful Faiz scenes which are impactful will come once his mom’s truth comes into the light. I think that will be his moment. When we will see some great scenes. Let’s see.

As for Mudassar n co, idk I find that chaotic family interesting 😂 The guilt ridden mom, the crazy wife and the man stuck between the two. I also kind of feel sorry for the wife here too because she’s as stuck as the guy. I’m hopeful that Hareem will help fix or at least inspire them to fix their domestic issues 🤣 I think Mudassar might propose to Hareem though but she will decline. And I also have a theory that he actually loves his crazy wife but thinks she will never love him back. I have thoughts about their crazy dynamic lol

the pacing of the story is nice - it’s not dragged and where it needs to linger, it does. So I think you’ll get a good amount of Faiz and his regret. Feroze will of course get his moment to shine.

As for Hamna and Rayyan I just don’t want them to have a happily ever after 😈. After all Hamna and her family deliberately filed the fraud case on her husbands family which he knows nothing about. So she’s hiding things. It was ok if they just ran away with their shares but she did a lot more than that. The case filed against Rayyans dad is Hamna’s family’s doing - not that the dad didn’t have it coming - but still, it’s some next level backstabbing behavior.

Also since you mention how calm she is, it’ll be fun to see her loose it and expose herself in front of Rayyan. I just need ONE moment of this 😂😂 And I want Rayyan to try to fix things with the fam but he remains disowned.

I clearly don’t like this couple at ALL 🤣

Yes, the pacing is actually good. Which actually gives me hope that they will allow Faiz his due as well. he deserves atleast 7-9 episodes to undo the pain.

Well, re Hamna I hope you get what you want. She did cheat the entire family. The contrast they are showing, Rayan trusting his wife for too long and Faiz letting go so easily. Who is a better husband!! Rayan completely ignoring and forgetting his family he used to love and Faiz doing the same to Hareem he claimed to love so much that it used to consume him. If he remains disowned then Faiz not finding peace with the truth will also be justified. But I want to see how they deliver on Faiz's regret. It's not just that he left her, it's the way he totally abandoned her and his own child. He doesn't even know that his child lived and died a sorry death. It's just too much. I am intrigued to see how they will treat it.

I loved her in KDJ, Qayamat and MDKS but I think working with FK ruined her acting skills BTW her character is way better than faiz even FK isn't also a good actor
