This is one of the couple BGM from one of Gul’s shows that I love, these are the kind of vibes I want for Imlie and Surya.

I made this quickly so it’s a bit choppy. But I’ll keep my fingers crossed that they have a good BGM in works for these two.

Imlie writers ka track record hota hain - Ek ganda episode ke baad they give such a meaningful one. Today's episode was so much better than yesterdays. There was a recap scene too so that audience can understand the context which was sorely missing.

Surya calls Imlie but she does not want to come back. Surya overhears the bus ka announcement and comes to bus stand. The conversation between them was good. Surya is a way practical person - That was how he was introduced in the very first scene. I think at this point he has accepted that Agastya's death was a misfortunate incident and his grandmother wanted him to be with Imlie as she was wronged in all this. He operates on purely thought process. He still has not started having any feelings whatsoever for Imlie. The whole stopping Imlie from leaving was not because he feels for her or he feels guilty rather because he wanted to stand by the promise given to his grandmother. Dang so the writers are starting from the basics - I do hope they are going to give the attraction phase and then feeling regret for getting attracted phase and then finally acceptance. Don't rush through the process please

And definite kudos to the art directors of the show - They did have Purwaiya Bus Depot Uttar Pradesh written on the board and the outdoor scene was definitely done so good. Imlie wants to go stay in a hotel but Surya tells her that 6 months back that hotel was raided for illegal activities. And Surya tells Imlie that her first plan of staying for 1 year was a better one and to come back home.

Nirmala definitely is going to hatch more plans when Imlie is going to stay in the house and Malti would be her side kick. I am glad that they are balancing the sweet Chachi with manipulative Nirmala. Surya tactfully tells Tayiji that everything happened so quick between him and Imlie and they have decided to not rush into things. Surya definitely is close to Tayiji and I think he was bought up by her. And a really good touch of the saying (what comes slow is knowledge, what comes sudden is a toofan) - we use that a lot in Andhra or at least I have heard that so many times growing up.

Tayiji seems to be a considerate woman and not a calculative person. She has regressive thoughts but she does not talk between decisions of husband and wife. She told Surya to be in the same room as Imlie as what they both do in that room is their purview. So now Surya - Imlie are going to live in the same room.

The precap was really good. Shukr hain the creatives did not forget Holi and have included a sequence for that. And Imlie is back in gorgeous sarees with mangalsutra and sindoor. And we have Anjali coming in the midst now. So an overall better episode today and hopefully we will have a good slow burn story going forward.

Today's episode makes it very clear - Surya is not attracted to Imlie and whatever he is doing is because of Agastya ka video and his grandmother's promise. In fact If after a year if Imlie becomes a successful person and says that she wants to separate from him as she can not forget Agastya then I feel Surya is not going to say no. Also Surya does know the depth of love that Imlie and Agastya had for each other. So I think he kind of knows that there is no way there is going to be any love between Surya and Imlie.

If in this scenario, Anjali comes back who definitely seems to be head in over heels in love with Surya and the family's wish for being Surya's wife, do you all think Surya is going to pay attention to Anjali ? Whatever it is I really hope Surya does not encourage Anjali because be it for 1 year or for life Surya is right now committed to Imlie and it is not good on his part to give wrong signals to Anjali. What do you all think ?

Kyun ? What nightmare. I feel right now both Surya and Imlie are living their lives separate and they need a catalyst which can push them towards each other. Anjali can be that catalyst.

Overall a good episode

Imlie-Surya bus stand convo was nice... Imlie needs to gradually learn to trust Surya... They really need to team up in front of family at least and leave all the kalesh for the sanctity of their room... Especially with annoying Anjali tapkoing in near future episodes...

Nirmala was so OTT today... Especially in that rakshas scene n Malti is such a fuski bomb... nalayak kisi kaam ki nhi hai... kya item hain yaar ye maa beti... I legit wanted Surya to say "Keka, bas isi pagalpan ka kami tha humara family mein"

Chachi is such a sweetheart... Can't wait for Imlie to help her be more shashakt

Taiji is still a puzzle for me... I can't make up my mind on whether she is a full fledged vamp or a redeemable character like Sonali was...

I understand Imlie's frustration but she really needs to see that Surya is just as majboor because of his promise to Dadi and his devotion for the Reddys who raised an abandoned child...

Abhi to ladke ki aur band bajegi jab pati-patni-aur-woh wala drama chalu hoga... Dhol ki tarah bajega bichara... Not pighlofying, his full redemption is still a long way ahead, but sach hai ki ladka aisa phasa hai ki policegiri karne ka b time nhi hai iske paas...

Holi precap seems interesting... Looks like Surya has figured out that Imlie ko baar baar ghar se bhaagne se rokna hai toh he needs to constantly challenge her to push her limits...

Agree with you. Chachi is a sweetheart and she and imlie will bond over easily. I feel Chachi will open up some raaz of reddy's to Imlie and Imlie will help her be strong.

@bold:- I feel Tayiji loves Surya really deeply. She does have regressive thoughts but she is not someone who is pure full fledged vamp. She understands when she needs to back off and that is what she did today saying she is not going to involve in husband - wife matters.

I feel at this point both Imlie and Surya are not invested in the relationship and Surya is practical person. Yes he feels bad that Agastya got killed instead of him and Imlie was robbed a chance of having her love with her but I do think he has compartmentalized that feeling. Right now he himself does not know what the relationship status quo is. He also knows the deep devotion with which Imlie loves Agastya so there is no way he would miraculously expect that Imlie will start having feelings for him. So at the moment he is helping Imlie be successful in her life and is standing by her till she finishes her education. I wouldn't be surprised if Imlie herself will push Surya towards Anjali as anyway she is going to exit the picture in 1 year.

Today's episode was so much better than yesterdays.

For a second there, I wanted to start my gaali process for Surya when he left her at the bus stop (he was angry and dropped her bag too) but then how could he LOL. Whoever in the AT wanted a gunda scene - we got a chotu sa glimpse of it. It was funny seeing him hold the eve teaser by the pants haha.

Pleasantly surprised that Surya is actually aware of how to make Imlie agree. He is really doing tedi ungli to take out the ghee. Instead of being angry at her, he used his brain and made her realize that he will follow her wherever she goes. It was nice of him to show her how flop her plan was. Finally, Imlie agreed when he told her she wont have to deal with the family, he will tackle that.

He understands where this marriage stands and has no expectations. He just wants to take care of Imlie (for a year till she is able to be independent) and has no attraction towards her. It all made sense to me. Neither of them want this marriage. It was good to see them be civil to each other. This is what I wanted to see - them talking, some progress in the relationship.

Surya smartly told the whole family that he wants time to proceed with the suhaagraat - icky that such topics are being discussed in the living room with full family presence. Private topics like these should not be a matter of discussion. Imlie Surya could easily go to the room and may be pretend they are doing ding dong . Are the family members going to come in the morning to check proof?

I am loving the Tayi character - she is definitely regressive but as Surya pointed out there is a lot of history there. Despite being a woman if she thinks the husband holds power in a marriage, there must be some thing that happened. I was happy she agreed not to interfere in private matters of husband and wife but also told them to stay in the same room. Chachi is a sweetheart and I would for her and Imlie to hit it off.

Anyway, I am happy Surya told her not to try to change things in his family as she was going to live with them only for a year. Also, happy that Imlie was assertive enough that she will not follow any rules which she does not agree with.

Surya buri tarah phasega between his Tayi and her usul, his wife and her values and the aanewala toofan mail Anjali.

The precap - I loved the outfits of Surya and Imlie. Finally some cheer in the show with Holi. I don't care about Anjali - they need to bring elements to draw these two together.
