how much is 1.2 lacs [ don't know if lacs is written good ] in dollars?

I can tell ya, just got back from India in March...

Large denominations of rupees are often counted in lacs or lakhs (100,000) crores (10,000,000) and arabs (1 billion).

Basically 1 lakh is $2500 US dollars. Let me know if this helps! Also the most important thing, Bapy ji (Mahatma Ghandi) is on every rupee!
