Ruhi was Armaan’s first love so far as the show’s timeline goes. And he married Abhira out of a sense of obligation and gratitude. So they are going to call this love vs responsibility. How equations have changed since then is a different issue. Also how Rohit’s re-entry is going to turn things upside down again. Got to wait and watch. Also the makers have labelled this track as the beginning of the love story. So it will begin and progress and face multiple obstacles in between. Like they say ‘ the path to true love never runs smooth!

Are they planning something like this ? Abhira learns the truth and run away and finds Rohit. Abhira-rohit plan to unite armaan-ruhi but in the meantime armaan realises his love for abhira

If the idea was to maintain that Armaan remains in love with Ruhi, they would not have shown him being hot and bothered for a bit in the scene under the tent. They showed him being disturbed and not Abhira. He is probably confused himself, wondering why Abhira is impacting him after he swore undying commitment for a lifetime to Ruhi
