@bold - agreed! Rohit needs to be given sometime to understand Armaan's character. He was told the audition for a different role and then informed about Armaan's role. So we need to be considerate and not look at everything with magnifying glass.

This way even Manish and Swarna are not really playing their age.

Plus the New Ruhi looks younger. So this obsession with looking over aged, I don't get it. In ITV no one really plays their actual age.

Moreover the comparison is also because Rohit is not bringing any essence of himself also on screen.

Obviously with a new actor some nuances will change. But the guy is completely blank. No expressions at all. Be it emotional or happy.

Ok, I just watched the episode after reading comments here. I find him good in the episode except the scene with Madhav & Abhira. Maybe he was told to give confused expression.

I also feel his specs need to be removed. Eyes actually emote well the emotions.

1. In that scene he is preoccupied by the thought that if the pandal fell on Ruhi or something. Which is the normal feeling if you see even one of your cousin, friend or anybody going to get hurt you will ask about them first? Won't we?

2. Madhav is accepting her as his daughter while their's is just a contract marriage. Abhira realises eventhough she forms a relationship with her father in law it is going to be short lived. Armaan gets worried if she will emotionally blurt out the truth, that is the exact expression he gave.

3. RP just tapakaoed into the set with not much homework like he said in IVs and his costar is a decade younger than him. It is easier to bond with somebody who is just one or two years from your age. But time will make things perfect.

4 Sheh was overacting in most scenes. In our language 'karanj mezhukuka' so I think this will give a more consistent graph. And a clear distinction from obligation to love.

Even though hospital tracks are ITV cliche for making a lead think about their feelings for the other, we got no change or progress , it was also a filler track .

The only progress we got after all this time was Abhira’s attachment to Poddars and Armaan getting some spine to take firm stands for Abhira

Makers made conscious choices to halt the romantic phase that’s why they’re establishing the same friendship base right now and start with love story as they promoted with their hashtags .

I think new Armaan is instructed to react that way only. He doesn’t know what happened before his entry & that’s why can’t add anything else except what he is instructed about!

Oh… & I will say this once again Armaan 1.0 was overly expressive & Armaan 2.0 is mild compared to him. Which others find as Pratiksha 2.0 is not really surprising, but it is far from truth. Armaan 2.0 is doing good, but most of the people were waiting for Abhimaan love story. but it seems like they have changed the track & are going on full on triangle track & to do that Armaan’s expressions are kept neutral right now. Otherwise it will seem like the old pendulum behaviour of Armaan 1.0.

It’s disappointing to say the least.

I am still waiting for the said promo & episodes to decide how I feel about it.

Yeah, even I feel so, armaan 2.0 is mild in his expression, armaan 1.0 hota toh kal & aaj ke episode mein abhira ke aankhon ke gehraai mein doob gaya hota. I'm also finding this armaan proper with the story, it's just that purane waale ke expressions dekhne ke baad naye waale ko dekha toh thodi confuse ho gayi.

Let's wait for promo, I believe if abhira falls for him, it's quite natural. Someone has claimed his right on her in a positive way in front of whole family(if we go by the precap), toh abhira ka unke relationship ko chance dene ka sochna is normal. N I do believe abhira ka heart break is needed when truth is revealed, to add impact to the revelation episodes. And as rohit poddar said, bhabhi ko samajna hoga about his bhaiyya & ruhi's past.

I had said it earlier also, ar-ru past has nothing to do with abhira, armaan has even told he won't fall for her, is she falls it's on her. It's rohit who got cheated in the sacrificial/obsessive love of ar-ru. Armaan n ruhi are answerable to rohit, abhira is not there in that equation. N I think only after abhira's heartbreak, rohit will enter, & only his entry will stop ruhi from going after armaan.

In all this, I think we've forgotten that Abhira fooled him a big time. Made him sing, made him jump on the trampoline and had jalebis too 🤭🤭

You need to cut some slack to other fans also. They were waiting for Abhimaan for such a long time & they promoted new Armaan with tag lines like love story begins & everyone was waiting for the said love story. Expectations were over the roof & what they are getting is not even the bare minimum we used to get with old Armaan.

Most of the Complaints is about Abhimaan, bcz that’s what their selling point was. & how they are not getting that feel. If he gets that right, no one is gonna even blink if his scenes are average with others or if he is really not a good actor.

About expectations being unrealistic, I agree. I wasn’t one of those who were hyped about this change, bcz I knew even if it’s for the best. It is still going to be adjustment & it’s not going to be overnight.

& whether we like it or not, with different actors comes different nuances to the character. Rohit is still new to add those nuances, but let’s hope for the best & I really hope he gets Abhimaan right. Once he does that, all the complaints will die down.

I really appreciate Sheh for the improvement he has made.. He was horrible in mahabaleshwar sequence.. Actually I started to like him only after Abhimaan marriage.. Even his glow up only increased with the progress of show.. So all I am saying is we all gave Sheh so much time.. Why cant we even give Rohit a grace period of 2 weeks?? Let that guy understand the character.. He is not a new bie and I am sure if directed well this guy will create magic.

I feel they are indeed deviating from Sheh's version of Armaan.. Like Armaan's dialogue today- I am a lawyer, not a joker who will keep entertaining you. I think this Armaan is going to be more mature, rona dhona kam yet maintaining that softness kind of version.. That's why they might have given him that styling too. And I can watch this version of Armaan too. As long as they dont convert him into a toxic shit or an aggressive male lead I am fine with anything..

And this constant comparisons like Sheh hote to ye karte, vo karte is not gonna work guys.. Bcz Rohit is not here to replicate Sheh.

This is my 1st show of Ro ,in fact never heard about him before, but am still finding him ok as Armaan where he has nothing much to perform much in the last 2 episodes. We should really give him fair time to gel into the character aur mujhe lagtha hai he will do a better job. I just wish they start the love story after a few weeks once Ro completely settles down in his character so everyone can get connected to AA as we r all waiting for that beautiful phase of falling in love in their growing relationship.

@Bold , that’s how I felt too , he never had these kind of dialogues before ,he was more like childish which shouldn’t be a part of his character. And only with Abhira he forgets everything and enjoy as a kid and those little things he missed in his childhood.
