Twerk karna hai toh Karo par dang se Karo, this mix with lavani and in that attire it looked vulgar and disrespectful.

And moreover India me twerking MC Stan aur uske chhapri log hi kar rahe, were women's are reduced to slaves while one chapri sprout misogynist/crap. It's disgusting.

Yes, loved her in Devdas, Hum Tum, and Veer-Zaara. I think it's sad that despite many Filmfare nominations, she's never won the popular one. She was the definitive mom of the 2000s.

It's also dawned on me that one of her last roles was playing Sonam's mom lol but I don’t feel comfortable grouping Sonam with the above actresses.

Not everyone gonna agree to everything. According to many Kiran might be rude but she wasn't wrong. There are certain things I don't like & I'm not saying it's some crime to twerk or whatever but everything has its place. I don't understand what kind of respect she thought she would earn by inserting those steps (or whoever choreographed it) in a song like this.

People these days, say & do a lot of vulgar stuff in the name of freedom of this or that then take offence when they get called out.

This! These BW people are big time hypocrites. What does she have to say about the vulgar dance moves in every other item song? While I respect the opinion that many people may find such moves vulgar in a dance performance, especially if it’s a cultural or folk dance, but honestly muje ye reel mei as such kuch vulgar nahi laga. Dance is a form of art, and an artist should have creative liberties to perform or fuse in different moves, even if it involves twerking, I am not saying that people don’t have to call it out as indecent,I myself am not a fan of twerking, but Kiran as a “judge” should have more open mindedness IMO. She is not merely stating her opinion, but being condescending and too harsh on the girl, like I said before, himmat hai toh jo actual vulgar songs ya movements hote hain films mei, uss pe bhi comment karke dikhaye na. I felt bad for the girl and I think she danced well.
