I prefer the FL and PL/NL on equal footing. This Ruhi feels more like Pakhi from the OG show. Prat was dull in her portrayal of Ruhi, even good dialogue sounded bad from her mouth. I like this one more.

We dont need another Pakhi 😱

There needs to be a clear distinction between FL and the other girl.

I think the episode was ok considering it was the first scene for the new actors .. and I am glad they jumped in so quickly … they were saying in brief … they were not aware they are auditioning for yeh rishta … so holi was the best way .. Armaan did not look to be in love with Abhira .. but he looks like a’mature lawyer .. who is married to a law intern ( which is what the story was )

He still is trying to make dadi happy … and for a change he went to work in office while fufasa stayed back to play holi with masa

this Ruhi is a beauty without makeup so makes sense that why Armaan n Rohit both found her attractive at first sight .. Pratiksha looked the same in all scenes , day night , evening and party breakfast .. full of kohl ..

This one looks a little younger than Ruhi should be ..

overall a decent episode .. with Dadisa coloring fufasa first ..and Abhira coloring manisha poor vidya na ghar ki na ghat ki 😂😂

I get what Ur saying but with any new drama, in terms of chemistry, U either have it at the beginning or not in my eyes. If there is bit of chemistry that can be worked on yet if there is lack of chemistry then unfortunately that can't be worked on. It's either their or not at all.

As said, it's not about first day, for me the chemistry is there at the beginning or not. There was chemistry when the old Armaan had scenes with Abhira that was worked on yet no chemistry here

I feel like Garvita's character is an entirely new character lol. Harder to get used to than Sheh. I think part of Prats lack of acting helped Ruhi's character because we were to believe that Ruhi going after her jeth was uncharacteristic of Ruhi - she is a good girl whose soulmate wala pyaar is causing her to act this way. That's the way her character was developed in front of us. Ruhi in the beginning was shown to be a full family loving girl who wants to hold onto everyone around her because in the past a certain someone took away everyone else she loved. She was "career-oriented" by helping out in the business and apparently couldn't find a balance in life between work and family. Then she runs into Armaan at a resort, thinks of him as her soulmate, and there comes her character change from independent to dependent. But like it wasn't like she was always going after men lol. Her struggling to act kind of helped her because her character was also shown struggling lol.

Garvita seems much more of a natural at negative roles, although I think she'd be a really cute positive role too. It's low-key hard to see her negative, her appearance gives off girl next door vibes. But Garvita's strong acting skills do not help Ruhi's character who's supposed to be dumb and confused.

I will give them time yet not a good beginning at all especially for new Armaan. The new Ruhi I do like tho.

It is just the first day. It is going to take time for everyone to adjust and sync into their characters. Previous Armaan's first day was way off. But he still managed to turn things around. Same will happen with new Armaan too. We just have to be a bit patient I guess.

Its easier to be patient or give time on day 1. But now we are in the middle of the story and we were at a good point. Armaan finally losing cool with Ruhi and growing fonder towards Abhira. Its such a bad time for this change.

You spoke my mind. I know we will be in minority. The hero looks very handsome but for me he was not able to portray Armaan at all. He was trying too hard and will need some time himself. He is also keeping his mouth open most of the times which is not really showing him as a suave lawyer either. Sorry but that is how it was for me.And the sad thing is I am now missing the beauty queen too. Both the actors will take time to get into the skin of the character. Rohit did mention that he did not get time to know much abt the character so understandable. But for us fans it will be a bit of time to get the Armaan we love. Some of the forum members were saying that producer took a big gamble for this cast change when ipl itself is impacting the trp but I wanted to say this ia perhaps the best time for cast change. If there is any trp drop due to cast change it will be masked by the trp drop due to ipl. By the time the cast picks up, ipl will end and all will be back to normal I hope.

I miss Sheh!!! His goofiness, playfulness and endearing nature is all missing! The thing I loved about Armaan is that he is not a typical angry man or successful, egoistic man shown in ITV. Sheh's range of expressions was so vast- he could be completely childish and affectionate with Abhira. I miss his voice...the way he would get exasperated with Abhira.

Also miss Prat- Ruhi is supposed to a damsel in distress who is jealous of Abhira but can never hate her! She is whiny, insecure, dull- just a pretty doll! That's her own personality. I liked that because the difference between Abhira and Ruhi is so stark but now they are making Ruhi another vamp.

Exactly... Ruhi was never supposed to be a typical "vamp" like other ITV shows. I don't think this show could handle that anyways. Idk how they will portray Garvita in that grey character scope. She seems too black and white in acting - either completely good or completely vampy. Like her eye contact was purely negative today versus Prat could never make that negative of a look. Prat could also do apologetic/self-realisation scenes well. I felt like there was room to redeem Ruhi with Prat but with Garvita idk.
