SPOILERS:

Apparently Tai Amma’s husband wasn’t a good man and abandoned her. Surya is going to this to bring Imlie into the house. He doesn’t want to abandon Imlie and be a bad person like his Tauji

We’re really getting those full dhamaka wali ITV episodes with the entry of the Reddy family, one scene at the door took most of the episode.

Adrija is such a wonderful actress, her and Sai have this fire in their eyes that they bring to their characters together. The collar grabbing scene was so intense, this feels like the same Surya who got mad when she slapped him in the beginning.

I’m glad he’s standing up for Imlie but there’s a little assertiveness missing. During the contract era, Agastya didn’t plead in front of the family to accept Imlie. He maintained his calm and confidently defended her. I need that from Surya because he really let them go on for a while before he intervened. I get that it’s because of his majboori that he did the shaadi but shiddhat se nibao like come on.

Imlie also needs to stand up for herself because she’s the wife of the owner of this house, she best not forget her own position here. This was also her Babu’s house so she should feel more of the haq, unlike the Reddy’s she actually has history with this haveli.

This show has given me PTSD with car rides, for a second I thought that the Chaudhary’s would get into an accident during the phone call with Imlie. It felt sad that she lied to appease them though, this girl doesn’t catch a break honestly.

Now that they’re married, there’s definitely going to be more moments where they physically interact with each other. They were already pretty comfortable before but now we have angst, which makes it more interesting.

Overall, a pretty interesting episodes with good performances and lots of drama. Aside from Chachi, the rest of the Reddy’s are very antagonistic so it gives us a bunch of villain-ish characters. I hope they add in some cousins for more lighthearted vibes, I need more people in Imlie’s corner as well.

Shree, your post on the first page for Sai made me smile so big and my eyes got misty.

There were so many references and I swear I could imagine every moment. The love that we have in our heart for Agastya is something else, it really leads us to build beautiful palaces out paragraphs.

And that ending with the “aji sunte ho” made my heart all warm and fuzzy ❤️
