what she said wasn’t wrong but the timing of it was in really bad taste and raised a lot of eyebrows.
before sajal said anything, farhan called out the sabun awards for being rigged. yet he didn't get called out as a hater, jealous or sour grapes. instead, people were applauding him for how an industry insider chose to speak truth to power and expose the sabun awards. but god forbid, a woman says something which is not even 20% as provocative, and she is labeled a hateful jealous biatch. agar timing is the issue then let's also call out farhan and others who spoke about sabun awards after the fact.
