Arre why are u confused. Imlie was sure Surya won't turn up which means the wedding won't happen and she can join the Chaudhary family to go to their village. Since she was thinking of leaving purwaiya with the family she wanted to say good bye to her friends.

Yes there's a new montage but I don't like it. Brown doesn't cut it for me, they should have used a better color for Imlie.

Loving where the story is headed... But one HUGE disappointment in today's episode, at least for me, (Apart from Surya not being Babu) is the use of Aashiqana OST instead of some DDP wala classic old song, something like Tadap Tadap Ke Iss Dil (from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam) or Jaane Kis Mod Pe Le Aayi Zindagi (from Sita Ramam) or a new OG OST

Yes they used Aashiqana ka OST. I guess Gul believes in reusing her creative poems and songs. I don't think we are going to jump right in retro era so maybe the songs will take some time to come back. So Gul used her own OST as it matches the state of the leads now.

I liked the fierce Imlie coming back but the family seems to be too regressive. At least Dadi was not this bad even though Alka was really acidic whenever she talked to Agastya. Let's see the dhamaka that happens when Surya gets Imlie as his wife.

Holi also falls on Monday, previously I thought we’d get August Babu back by then but things are different now.

Surya and Imlie’s first celebration as a couple will be holi. They could obviously do the puja but I wonder if they’ll show them put colour on eachother. We no longer have flirty Surya and Imlie would have no interest in letting him apply colour on her. But then again he’s going to put sindoor on her when they get married, which is a colour so deep that it will stain her for life.

Curious about the vibes in general especially since we have a new family and the Chaudhary’s will be gone.

Maybe they will change montage again when Imlie and Surya start having feelings towards each other. Right now they both are in this wedding against their wishes. So they changed the montage to Imlie with sindoor and mangalsutra.

They will retain the purwaiya village setting. Imlie was saying goodbye to her friends because she was sure Surya would not turn up for the wedding. So she was hoping she can go to village with her family members and she wanted to say bye to her friends.

The dialogues and Imlie’s delivery were somethings else today, love how she told Surya to not show up at the mandir, because she has nothing to offer him in this marriage. Imlie’s love her Babu always makes my eyes tear up a bit. I’m going to look at this as a new show but my heart will always remember Imlie and Agastya.

I’m not liking Anjali yet, the vibes are not there. Although, the new family members look really interesting. The Chachi looks so sweet and we know she’ll be on Imlie’s side. The Chacha is giving proper villain vibes, we haven’t had a strict male father figure in this show in a while. And the actress who plays Surya’s Tai Amma is something else. Her tashan with Imlie was a sight to see, it was amazing to see Imlie be herself again after such a long time.

They set up a good base today to introduce the new family, looking forward to the reveal of Imlie as Surya’s biwi. Adrija looked so gorgeous, like absolutely stunning in her wedding look. The bengali in me loved seeing her in red and gold, she looked so beautiful with her hair styled and all.

Surya’s character is taking a bit of a backseat in the action, I want to see him emote more. These majboor wali expressions aren't cutting it for me. Hopefully, after the marriage we’ll see some of his spark again. I want him to stand by Imlie and not let anyone speak ill of her.

This has potential to be really good if they don’t ruin it. The contrast between Agastya and Imlie almost-wedding preparation vs. Suryya and Imlie’s was so stark. Their faces were void of the glow and joy those two had when they were getting ready. Let’s see if they bring in more parallels in the future. Aage ki kahani jaane Radharani!

This bhabhi devar ji jodi is something else. They are the classic villain duo whom we have always seen on itv and which most of the time work with trp audience.

We are finally getting villains who can act ,have screen presence, look menacing without annoying the audience and give takkar to leads. In form of chacha ji we are getting a strong Male character. I liked that he isn't made sweet sugary like Govind chachu who was made prop but given an personality of his own. If he is involved in some illegal activities then his and Surya who is cop cat and mouse game will be interesting to see.

Imlie has already became sherni in front of this reddy family. Acha jhatka when they will realise she is their bahu.

The simple dulhan look of Imlie was so eye pleasing.

There is a good characterization for Surya ki family and acting chops too. Only issue is they are few in number so they won't relieve our leads.

Imlie interacting with Surya ka family reminded me of Beta movie ka scene somehow. The way the family knows already who they are dealing with.

I think Surya doesn't have much to do right now because he is majboor before Dadi. Once the wedding takes place, he completed a part of the penance. So he should be able to show spark. Imlie ke saath rahega toh spark toh aayega hi na.

Give it a week, right now both are majboor, phir awkward phase aayega, phir tashan, understanding and love. One day at a time.

I didn't quite enjoy the song. For some reason it did not highlight the pain both Surya and Imlie were going through while getting ready for this majboori waali shaadi.

I heard the whole album of Tum Bin today. Suits the current situation. Hope they use songs from this movie.

Alka was bitter with words but her opinions never shaped Agastya choices. Dadi too have tried to emotionally manipulate Agastya multiple times but she always had thought she was doing well being of Agastya at end of day. She had no malicious intentions in her heart.

But yeh Tayiji toh lagta she won't be shying of playing mind games with Surya even if it benefits her and maintains her authority in the house. We really have gotten a classic itv family in this revamp
