I read about all the drama around the show on Wikipedia.People celebratedMehwish being called "Do takay Ki ladki/aurat" and Shehwar's wife slapping her as if something great happened.One of my issues with the show was Shehwar not receiving the treatment equivalent to Mehwish when both were wrong.I randomly watched a video where Pakistani cricketers had to guess the celebrities from the pictures and they recognised Ayeza by remembering the mentioned dialogue.Mohammad Aamir literally laughed while saying it.My reaction was-What's so funny?

When I first tried to watch the show I left it after first episode only. Danish was a hypocrite. He got on my nerves. He was dancing with Mehwish's friend but was stopping Mehwish from dancing with men. When she questioned him he was like she's like my sister. They portrayed Mehwish in wrong light since the start. Even when Danish was extremely annoying the whole show favoured him.

I watched it after a couple of years again though. It had that curiosity factor what's going to happen next that kept the audience hooked. And the lyrics of the OST are pure gold.

Only Hamza-Sajal and Yumna-Azaan are underrated from the list. How the hell is Sajal- Bilal underrated I would also add Wahaj- Neelam, Ayeza- Zahid, Kinza- Kaddu jr to the list.

Forever glad I never bothered with it. Just clips here and there were enough to make me question the writer. The premise, the ending, it screams misogyny. And what worries me with every project KRQ writes. He just can’t help himself, can he 🤦🏻‍♀️

pata nai what’s in store for us in SMD now. Scenes and lines might be good but message can be extremely problematic
