If Armaan respected his teacher, he'd have told Ruhi to stop speaking about Abhiras parvarish etc and to leave him alone instead of as always venting to her.

Yes, he is not horrible enough to be unaffected by Abhira taking off in the middle of night and is concerned for her safety. But i dont think Armaan has been able to speak up and defend Abhira and her parvarish adequately ever in the past also. He does not recall that this is the same girl who has done a LOT of things to help his family. She'd not have done any of that if she didn't care about family. And if he thinks family is finally getting used to her, vice versa is also true. So he has unjustly accused Abhira. Moreover he is backbiting with Ruhi despite knowing Abhira hates it when he does that. She has told him she prefers that even gussa, irritation, issues- he tells her directly when it concerns her instead of complaining about her to others.

Wasn't Armaan a loner anyway. Why cant he be upset nin solitude. Why is Ruhi always there?!

not only ruhi, even when... dadi is insulting akshu......he has never stepped up and said that if he is standing in front of the family only because of abhira's mom....poddar khaandaan ka to koi haq hi nahi banta akshu ke baare mein kuch bhi kahne ka......

also, if abira did not know the value of family, y would she risk her life for this family and go with yivi....

armaan bas mute button daba kar khada rahta hai....

and woh hi, jaise hi abhira kisi ke accusations ka jawab deti hai to aa jaata hai unka vakeel ban ke....
