By this logic, writers have ruined each and every character except Vanraj, his parents and his eldest son and daughter. Vanraj, his mother and his surviving two kids are selfish to the core. Chameleons of first order. His father is another enabler of abuse, never raised his voice when his so called beti was mistreated by his wife and son. That Jab dekho patli gali se nikal lete. And finally his two kids, kya kya nahi kiya and kya kya nahi bola apni Maa ko.
Apart from them every character has been ruined and the biggest victim of that is Anupama. She was supposed to free herself from the shackles but looks like she loves being in shackles.

Honestly she deserves Shahs and should be their maid forever. If she hadn’t known Vanraj’s affair she would have been living happily being a personal maid to each and every member of Shahs.

LOL. The sole basis of her identity is being around Shameless Shahs. Whether that is being a Maa or a maid, whether it is good for her or not etc is all moot (not really, but for the sake of it, let's pretend it is).

But what is undisputed is that Anupamaa has an identity that is completely dependant on Shahs. Else she ijjj nuuthing. When she had been banished by her Lord & master, she literally spent 5 years locked up as a jogan uploading videos anonymously
