CGM-Helena, only if their love story could get justice on ITV 🙄 oh well 😒 they were so passionate for each other 😢

Known Queens of CGM

1- Nand Nandini - It was a forced marriage for Chandragupta but Nandini fell in love with him at first sight. Had the title of Mahadevi and was greatly respected in Antahpura but was never made Agramahishi. Whether she had kids with her husband is not known but as Nanda lineage had died as per sources she probably didn't have any children or sons.

2- Ragyi Agramahishi Durdhara (Queen Empress Consort Durdhara)- She was childhood friend of Chandragupta Maurya and according to Mahavansh Tika she was daughter of his eldest maternal uncle however according to Burmese Chronicles she was from Mauryan lineage. Chandragupta married her to get a loyal wife and queen for himself who wouldn't secretly wants to kill him. Durdhara was greatly respected, loved and cared for. She was a very pious , emotional and loyal wife to Chandragupta. Her depictions on ITV has been totally incorrect.

3- Daughter of a Yavana King Suluva- Her and Chandragupta probably met when he was fighting against Satraps of Alexander. Her father probably would have been controlling a small city so not a big king. They met as teenagers. When they got married is not know but she was just a secondary queen till Durdhara died when she probably was made Agramahishi. Her character traits are not known so it's open for creative liberty.

4- Daughter of Seleucus, popularly called Helena - Youngest and last wife of Chandragupta, he didn't marry anyone after her. Mother of his kids (as reported by Megasthenes, how many kids however is not mentioned or known). The queen was childish, romantic and passionate as a young girl. Owner of a very beautiful moon shaped earrings which CGM gifted her. The earrings were envy of his Antahpura and she wore it very often. Gifting moon shaped earrings held significance because the emperor's own name was Chandragupta which meant moon protected. The girl was half Greek half persian.

This is probably the only time we will see true depiction of CGM-Helena and it's not even the clip of them 😂🤣 it's a clip from a totally different show of different timeline, using it just because ITV isn't capable of providing good historicals with accuracy 🤣😂

Exactly 😢 what is wrong with Ekta? Did she fail question of Mauryan Empire in her exams in high school? Ek number se reh gayi thi kya ki badle le rahe hai 😢😂
