I feel the primary problem with the maker is that they cannot decide whether to empower AnupaMAA or to show her as victim of everything to continue garnering the sympathy of primary viewership. They keep showing her in bad states and situations and she cries and cries = trp, because let’s admit, we in general find solace in others’ misery. But then they remember they also wanted to show a strong AnupaMAA, hence all those big dialogs from her mouth about right or wrong etc. etc. which doesn’t turn into actions.

Once makers decide which side of the emotion of their audience they want to cater to, they’d decide if it’s a show with an unique track or just same crap like all other meaningless tv shows that it is currently. The bengali version of this show seems like a poem or a river compared to this one !
