Choton is Thammi and Dadubhai's youngest son, so he is Ani's chacha/uncle/kaka.

In Bangla, we call our youngest uncle 'Chotka' (abbreviation for choto kaka/chote chacha). Maybe Ani has always heard everyone around him call Choton as such as an endearment because he is 'choto' in the house (meaning youngest), so he has picked up that habit just like all the other kids in the house.

Kids usually learn what they hear their parents speak. Tanuja and Shubh or the grandparents must have always called Choton like that and never tried to correct Ani, Lal, Appu di or the twins to use the correct terminology while growing up and now they're probably accustomed to calling him Choton as well, just like the adults of the house

So now what next? Is this episode slated for Sunday or Monday? Arshi breaking the engagement is very much expected! What will Ani do? What will the family do? I think now shubo will take it upon himself either to get the marriage annulled or they get divorced. That's what can happen next. Tejas is the one who publish the pics right, he may have done it because he is sure that Ani's family will throw her out and he can take her with him. So Ani's decision is important at the moment
